I get the same with old injuries but it never seems to last more than a few days. I always put it down to my immune system having to fight something else as they doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the cause.

Pain management ! Do something you enjoy to take your mind of it .... Hot and then cold compress can work also !

"A drop in atmospheric pressure may trigger an increase in the pressure of your body’s fluids on damaged nerves, causing pain."

Not much you can do. Take pain relief until it passes.

Take ibuprofen every 4 hours and co-codamal every 8 hours. Eg. Ibuprofen 9am, 1pm, 5pm and so on

Co-codamal 11am, 7pm and so on x co-codamal at least 2 hours/before ibuprofen x

Most heat creams don't go deep enough .... Hot and then cold compress alternating will do a better job

Southampton

Speak to a professional about it. Go to your local pharmacy where they can help with minor ailments. Or go to your doctor .

I get that still from an ankle avulsion a few years ago always aches in winter.

My mam is currently really struggling too the cartilage in the bottom of her spine has eroded so bones are rubbing together and now compressing into her nerves so she's struggling to walk.

She did seem to get better but the past couple of weeks it's kicked in again with the cold
