Hi I get a lot of people saying they looking for friends with benefits meet.. But none are specific what they mean.

Yeah I see the difference. I guess it depends on the mood. I'd prefer FWB but the again sometimes your in the mood of meeting a FuckBuddy where the sole purpose of the meet is for both to have some fun and part way with no expectations.. |

My Def of fwb is someone you go out with cinema, meals pub etc then you also get to have fab sex with them too. You develop a friendship with them. To me a db is just someone you meet for sex. No relationship, no socialising. |

It's kind of risky if you think about it, on paper it would be best if it was someone you trust, and there fore have known for a while, but that would suggest that it would be a close friend, and if you get emotionaly attached your going to fuck up a friendship, but on the other hand, I would say it would be more likely to develop an attachment to someone who you have just met, but sometimes it just works and sometimes I doesn't , I don't think there is a set in stone formula for it, you just got to get naked and hope for the best  |

I agree with definitions above
Fuck buddy = someone you just fuck
Friends with benefits = slightly more than fb but not a relationship, you fuck but you are also friends away from the sex |

To me a fb is someone you see from time to time for great sex. A fwb is somebody you also have great sex with but perhaps more regularly who you chat with in between meeting up. You may also enjoy socialising with them outside of the bedroom to

I think personally there is a subtle difference x but a lot is in your own definition x
I have a FWB but I think he'd say FB x
Not sure if that's true for all male and females x
Is it a gender definition?

Agreed! Clue in the name... (friend!!). You don't use a friend for anything so no fuck buddy scenario there. Friends can hang out socially. Handy if you even fancy going for a drink or film or whatever but you'd prefer being accompanied by a man instead of your usual female friends. Even just pop round for coffee, chat, film and stay the entire night. Much more Respectful!! Just how friends should treat each other! None of this call, go running, quick leg over and then leave malarkey. One good quality friends and benefits is all I need! |

Agreed..Just like Inna said there is not substance to a fuck buddy, where as FWB is just the same as having any other friend over just with the bonus your comfortable enough to also have sex from time to time. |
