Frightening isn't it? Even more so when you realise 1984 was 32 years ago!!

1984 was as far away from the year 2000 as 2016 is! Where did the time go!?

Depends where you are:

If you live at the top of a mountain , time passes quicker than at sea level,

It's called gravitational time dilation .

It's in The theory of general relativity.
