Fill the pan with warm water and a bit of washing up liquid, or washing soda if you have it. Put it back on the heat and boil it til the burnt rice floats off. |

Biological washing powder in a soak? It's brilliant for sink unblocking I hear so give it an experimental whirl on the pan. And report back, I've never tried it since I am a Fairy non-bio girl so have to make do with a plunger. |
