No point now.
Think he'll go at end of year!
He's not really the problem, he's just trying to be defensive because the teams not very good, it's like when he plays to score it ends 3-3 so he plays defensive and hopes for a 0-0 1-0.
Apart from the goalie we've got noooooooooooooooooooooo world class players |

Have to agree on the goalie comment. But then I may be biased as he is hot!! |

I'm a Preston fan so I still feel that you treated Moyes with complete and utter nastiness..
LVG was the number one target, and he's done shit... So personally I think it's karma and I don't give a flying fuck about you lot..
Sorry but that's the way it is..

It's great listening to man u fans moaning. 20 odd something years of constantly winning trophies and now a little bit of mediocrity and they throw their toys out of the pram. My heart bleeds for them I must say. It's about time they had a while living in the real world following a team that rarely wins and having to cope with false promises and baffling tactics by their manager. I follow such a team yet do so without the belief of winning trophies or even winning sometimes so suck it up buttercup and enjoy being like the rest of us. |

Your wife got much better form than utd." Pardon?
There is nothing plastic about a N
Manc who has followed them through thick and thin. |

Manchester United are beginning to sound like one of those 5-time-divorced women that are convinced they "meet all the wrong men". I think you have to ask yourself who is the independent variable in this and I'm implying it ain't the manager. |

"Shit players, shit manager, shit tactics sack him and beg fergie to come bk till the end of the season then have a major change at the club"
Some might argue that Fergies last couple of years was when their decline started..... |

Poor Man U eh! Try following a team that hasn't had multiple glories in the past! There's lots of them, about as much sympathy from the rest of us as you'd expect, none |

You seem convicted Fergie has passed away.
Best advice, stay off the product......
Football supporters of all teams tend to have short memories. Success is cyclical.
It's just not United time. |

Should Van Gaal go? On balance I think yes, but that doesn't mean I think he is 100% responsible.
At the moment he seems to me making the most of what is (at best) a very ordinary squad of players, but with around 200 million spent it shouldn't be.
Since Fergies departure the clubs transfer dealings have been lamentable. Di Maria? Fellaini? Falcao? WTF. We are talking Man Utd here. Even Luke Shaw, now sadly injured just when he was finding some form, was unfit for a whole season. As for the rest nothing more than journey men, has beens, and a couple of ( expensive but no more than) promising kids.
So back to Van Gaal. He is the coach, he picks the team, and has been involved in the transfer dealings, although to what extent in unclear. Confidence and unity are everything and I see very little of it at Old Trafford at the moment, so for that he has to go. However the transfer dealing buck stops at Ed Woodward who seems to be completely out of his depth. Sacking the manager alone would only be a sticking plaster solution. Woodward has to go as well.

Van Gaal has to go.
Bring in Giggs and Scholes, as joint player managers.
Don't think it would take them long to get match fit.
Even if they only played 45 mins or so.
United need someone both on and off the pitch, to kick some ass, and attack, attack, attack.
Then look for someone, on a more permanent basis.

Without doubt the greatest football club in GB. However I don't mind being beaten by a better side it's the manner of the defeat that is causing concern

You can't get quick results in football without spending massively and utd can no longer spend the big wonga!.
I don't think LVG is the right guy but I don't think pep or moriniho or giggs is either, I mean pep just inherited his team at barca and then did the same at Munich.
Moriniho plays the boring game but his record is excellent, although you'd have to say it wouldn't work out long term with him?.
Giggs is untested and so is Neville
Personally I'd rather have someone like arsene or redknap.
People that have a track record of medium term success with limited funds... Until either utd gets bought out by sheikhs or football gets back to reality are ability to compete will be limited. |

Leicester's whole team probably cost less than Martial alone. What about Charlie Austin for £4m!! |

Man Utd have lost that reputation of class and fear factor
Academy is rubbish
Team is rubbish
Manager is rubbish
Great time for the league. Even Chelsea struggling.
Best season for bizarre matches and entertainment there has ever been in the League.
Shame Spurs have sorted their shit out though because they are looking good.

It wasn't quick though.
Somebody had to buy players that fitted in with other players and filled needed rolls!, then coach and nurture them, and then get the success of what you've put in!.
Leicester have done great this year, really good football.
Crucially they've managed to get by without too many injury's.
Like all medium size teams there squad doesn't compete with the big spenders |

I honestly think they might win it.
It will all come down to nerves and injury's.
Like I said the big spenders can afford to pay 100k a week for a decent player NOT to play week in week out and willing to rotate!.
That's incredibly hard to do at the medium size end and is the primary reason why they very rarely win the big things!.
Look at utds reserves over the years, Christ they were better than the current first team players. |

Off the field ? Fans in Far East - enjoy if that's your thing.
On the field?
Celtic - first winners of euro cup . All local boys - that's glory. First team to win every single competition they entered. Thats a real legend.
Liverpool -almost twice the number of euro cups.
Take your pick . |

I don't think so. An injury to Mahrez or Vardy and they are fucked. Vardy has been a surprise package so defences weren't prepared to him, over time the tactics update to compensate.
Still it's better than Reading where we always have 1 very well paid striker who fails to justify his salary. |
