I have an iPad mini and I rarely find myself using it tbh. Only for watching films on trains or flights. Everything else my laptop or my phone are more suitable for. So I'd say don't spend too much, unless you're confident you will use it a lot. |

"Want to buy a new tablet but there are so many any suggestions android or ipad?"
Are you already familiar with either of those OSes? Or like Lib! mentioned, Windows?
Because they each will have their own advantages and disadvantages, but in my experience, the hassle of having to learn to use a new OS (esp if it's something like a shift from Windows to iOS, with having to get used to things like no flash etc) far outweighs the eventually technological advantage.
So, go with what you know. Each OS has good tablets to offer. |

flash is disappearing, is full of security bugs, so I don't think that should be a reason to choose android instead of iOS, in other hand firefox has created a webrowser which "translates" flash to HTML5
I have had android tablets and iOS, I stay with iOS, and I'm not an apple fanboy, I find really stupid buy any or their computers or phones :P |

It's all down to your budget and what you want to use it for
I bought the sprogs the new "basic" kindle fire for Christmas, was reduced to £35 from £50 on Black Friday, and was outstanding value
Pity tesco have stopped producing the huddle |

Well, although I don't see why anyone would get an iPhone or iPad when you can have Samsung, if you've got an iPhone then get an iPad. If not go Samsung or other Android.
Android usability trashes IOS in my view.
Used a Windows tablet once, put me off for life. |

Couldn't you have just looked on Amazon and asked Jeff before asking some naked people? |

I've got the Galaxy Tab, the 10 inch....I like a bit of size
It does all I ask of it. My kids have got the new Kindle Fire Tab, the £50 ones, a nice simple little tab.
It all depends what you want it for. Are you gonna use it with work or just for perving fab/porn and playing Angry Birds |

i recommend the sony xperia z4 ( expensive) or lenovo yoga 2 tablet android version, excellent battery life, great picture, light and great screen, ipad is al-right but lacks some features upto android. having work for a company where we get all the customer returns from manufactures, the sony z4 aswell as lenovo yoga2 very rarely has a return upto samsung and apple products. |

"Want to buy a new tablet but there are so many any suggestions android or ipad?
IPAD only logical choice "
Yeah, apart from having generally worse batteries that can't be replaced, being more expensive, having a default OS, having generally worse hardware when comparing similarly priced models, having default sized memory that can't be expanded cheaply, being generally less durable and having a different set of stupidly expensive chargers and accessories that aren't micro-usb like the entire fucking world.
iPads are good, but they aren't the only option these days. |

Can't really offer an answer until you finish the question, need to know what you want the tablet for, give thar some thought and you could be closer to knowing which one you need. |
