I have a reasonably reliable record on being consistent with my opinion when it comes to most subjects.
One of these opinions is on how people describe themselves when it comes to gay, straight, bi, etc.
I have just seen someone looking for m f mf mm ff and every combination in between describe themself as a straight TV/TS. Now the straight TV/TS I can understand but how can looking for meets with every conceivable combination of male and female be in any way be described as straight?
For me the mind boggles.

I work on the principle that TV/TSs must get an incredible amount of stick as it is, so I'd cut them some slack, especially if we weren't going to meet them anyway.
When we were on another site, our one genuine approach was from a TV. Having had a sheltered life it was something we had never even considered, so I naïvely asked if she was straight or gay (so we'd know which one of us she was interested in). That is actually more to do with age ranges. I never want something specific as in sexual acts. That is something I chat to people who contact me about. I don't have a list of xyz that I want to do. I am only looking for single men,so only single men message me. What happens when we meet changes with each man. You've obv read our profile however the reference is to the tick box thing. Our tick boxes are what we are interested in and our profile says what we prefer. The original op was referring to people that ticket certain boxes then claim to be interested in other things. Not everyone is solely here for sex with the people that they list. So unless a user details sexual activities with multiple genders then it may either mean they ticked all categories - often done in various sections - or that they also are open to being friendly in other ways. |

It's not contentious for me.
I'm not particularly bothered how people describe themselves or whether, based on their interests, it matches my view of what they're into.
If I fancy them and am interested in what they're into, and if they fancy me, are what matters.
Wasting time worrying about how others identify or describe themselves is a waste of time and effort.
PS I say I'm bi but I haven't played with a woman for a few years and am not looking to meet women at the moment. Should I change my label to straight? Sexuality is often not a clear cut issue. |

why would my mind boggle at your profile? you are quite clear about who you are and what you are looking for. Many on here expect clarity from what is to be expected and a large degree of honesty from others whether it be body type, smoking, skin colour, location, bareback or a myriad of other preferences. Are people now saying that it is ok to deceive others by not being honest about who they are? |
