.. just fancy doing the normal date thing.... Coffee (Costa of course), walk, cinema, meal... Etc
I find weekends are the time that I miss having someone to share the normal things in life as mentioned above.
I do like my own company, but I do get bored of myself sometimes but mainly at weekends!

Yeah me too! Doesn't always go down too well if you ask a meet for a date!!! That's why fb's or fwb are always good.
I'd really like a female 'fab' friend. I can't be truly open with my ordinary friends and it would be good to have a girly friend/s to share stuff with. Shopping trips, coffee, lunch and chats would be good. |

Have you been on miss cheekychops dating thread.
I'm going for a walk in the pennies on a date today.
I don't see my partner much at weekends as he does stuff on a Saturday.
One day I put a thread up what could I do and within an hour and half three of us girlies had met up and had a lovely day

Should have been happening today but due to unforseen circumstances it's had to be postponed. 
On the plus side, I can look forward to it happening in February. |

I had a disastrous date 3 Weeks ago an since then erm no dating ...the guy was like a vampire on my neck bearing in mind it was a normal date not a swingers date...i swear he was a day walker
he got told...an he took me to the cinema, lunch. Dinner an brought me versace perfume does not entitle this dude to get into my knickers. ...the cheek of it...so note to self no more dating
im sticking to fabs in the future...the guys are more respectful on here who i have met up even for a social  at least i know why im on here

I said in the hopes for 2016 thread it's time I found a partner in crime but somebody just to have some giggles with would be great not necessarily just in bed but with out all the hassle and before anyone says it is no I'm asking to much |

I count myself very lucky to have made a female fab friend - I feel like I've known her forever & she's like the slightly older sister I never had. We've met each other's children, and she's popping over today & we're off for lunch. We spend hours on the phone talking absolute rubbish, going off on tangents. We're going to a concert together in July & 1 of my best "vanilla" friends is coming too so should be fun!! |

Maybe if you had a regular fb you could just do normal thing once and awhile as doesn't have to come to sex all the time well that if your got the friendship as well |

Funny, I was just thinking similar thoughts this morning. And I seem to find myself thinking like this more and more at weekends.
I like my own company also and always look forward to the weekend (mainly because I despise my job so much) but when the weekend comes I just find myself alone and bored. Really tired of feeling lonely.
It's why I don't always care so much about meeting for sex or things like that anymore. I find I can't even bring myself to even dream of that. That seems too remote. Just a bit of human contact of any sort is all that I want/need sometimes. |

Humans always think the grass is greener...lol I was in a couple for over 18yrs - it was a nightmare. Take a look around some couples hate each other it oozes off them ...lol. Friends are much better for me male or female, never want to live with someone ever again. |

Yep weekends are normally shit, my daughter gets picked up at 11am on a Saturday and doesn't come back till Sunday tea time. Feel like I should be doing something with my free time but I'm usually just bored/lonely. Has been like this the last 2 and a bit years since my best mate got herself a boyfriend. He's in the army and comes home almost every weekend so my partner in crime feels obliged to see him, well they do live together! Not this weekend though, she's told him to stay on camp for us to have a girly night! |

Omg. This thread was so written for me. This is exactly how I've been feeling for a long time. It's just me and my son at home. I really miss having another adult around to chat to. The weekends when he's at his dad's are the worst. It's the loneliness in the evenings. The cuddles, the little kisses, just the little things I miss. Would be so nice to have someone to share those things with again. Don't see it happening anytime soon though. So, I'll just plod on with miss cc's dating thread with my fingers crossed. |

I have tried the online dating sites, tried and tried and tried for years and got absolutely nowhere with it.
Spent far too much money on monthly charges and I didn't even get one single date.
I gave up with that, thought fuck it, hence why I'm trying Fabswingers. 6 months on and still no meet but at least I get the odd message to communicate with someone.
To be totally honest I do miss that a little but I'm just far too busy with my work and private life to throw in a girlfriend in the mix. |
