I'm sure i've seen special mattress covers sold by S&M-oriented sites/shops that might be what you're looking for - a decent waterproof solution that shouldn't move around as you do, like a shower curtain would

Other than that, a couple of large, cheap towels?

Just had a quick look, googled "waterproof mattress cover" and saw plenty, in the £10-20 range mostly.

Sorted :]

I'd also recommend puppy pads as they are disposable! If you use a waterproof sheet then it's just going to lay in a puddle and you'd have to find a way to soak it up and then you'd have to clean the sheet and dry it!!

Just a thought... I'm not OCD or anything

Asda value shower curtains. Fold up really small, cover most of a double bed, can be machine washed too. Less than a fiver.

We use a picnic blanket we brought in Aldi.

It has a waterproof backing one side and blanket material the other and goes straight into the washing machine after play time...

Incontinence pads would be best. If you're going abroad they won't look strange in your suitcase like a shower curtain will.

I just got a mattress protector for about a tenner, but the incontinance pads sound a good idea.

Do you chuck the blanket after? I had a friend who liked me to urinate on him as he lay on a ground sheet. Cold piss is not nice to lay on

chuck it? When play has finished they get whipped of nice clean bed to lie and come down on then it gets put in the wash.

Why would you lay in a puddle of cold piss?

He sort of flipped me over. I went off him after that. I would have to boil wash something wet like that,it would kill a blanket

never thought of those and have some in the shed - 1 would be about half a bed and if i throw the thick love towel over it - job done - ive never fancied the shower curtain route because of the puddling so just use as many bath sheets as needed folded up

Just get a waterproof mattress protector from Dunelm or similar- they have a rubberised backing and a cotton feel topside. Not expensive. Like the ones for childrens beds but you can get double and king sized.

Or for holidays the half bed sized pads as they are disposable

I would of thought a washed blanket is less harmful!than laying in soaking piss especially with all this modern technology like washing machines

Try those disposable mattress protector they sell for kids that wet the bed, saves you having to wipe it over and keep it clean like you would a plastic cover plus you'd have to put towels over a plastic cover too which wouldnt be nice for whoever cleans the room and left to pick them up, as you just throw these away
