Some people are viewing our flat in ten minutes. We're pissed off because we don't want to move. I'm thinking of playing the most unpleasant music while they look around so they get the hint and don't try and make conversation.
Any other tips for getting rid of them quickly? |

What's happening, are you being evicted for some reason?
Just tell 'em the downsides of the place maybe? Then again that's what I'd do as I'd feel bad making a complete stranger uncomfortable when they've done nothing wrong :P |

No just good old market forces. Rents gone up way beyond what the place is worth and these are the idiots willing to out bid us. |

Ah damn, sorry to hear. I dread the day when my landlord wises up to the fact that myself and others nearby have been getting tons of letters through the door from local estate agents saying "if you're thinking of moving, we've got ridiculous amounts of people looking to buy in this postcode". The rent's still ridiculous when you consider how little it must cost them a month, they get about a third of my paycheck :/
Sorry, offtopic rant!  Ah it's probabaly too late to suggest anything else, like making the place a mess with clothes all over the floor (so, like my house) or turning the heating off and telling them the heating sucks and it gets horrible there this time of year! |

Sorry to disappoint you all but I failed miserably to be rude to them. They were too friendly and actually quite attractive. We had a good chat.
