Not doing too bad, will weigh myself on Monday morning. Not totally following a healthy eating plan but working up to it so I can get my head around the do's and don'ts
3lts of water a day is killing me, lowering it to 2 for now!!! My kidney is being over worked, might need a transplant lol |

Weigh in on Sunday for the week. But I was 400 calories over my target intake yesterday as I didn't get to the gym like I'd hoped to (make up for it tonight) but I was about 350 under the day before so they net off ..
My measure of success is a shirt I bought that is too tight (particularly when I sit down) - if I can ever fit into that I'll be happy! |

Skip the idea of a diet there all destined to fail, look at it as a lifestyle choice, don't say I can't eat that think I could eat that I just don't want to, Calorie counts is all well and good but remember there not created equally 2000calories of salad will sustain you much more than 2k of cake etc x |

"How are we all getting on? I was ready to gnaw my own arm off yesterday evening "
I'll weigh myself on Monday. It's when I get home, before dinner that I find the hardest. I'm not denying myself anything as I want it more if I do that. |

As soon as im allowed im back in the gym...but going the other way. Aiming for 5 lean kg increase...going to be a lot of food. Eating healthy isn't the issue for me, its just eating the sheer amount I need to |

I am on rich pianas 4 month mass program, started it 4th jan 2016, eating 500g carbs daily, will be increasing it to 1000g during the weeks, the training is going good and I am braking pb's, both in deadlift and leg press which I did 250kgs for 10reps. Then every night I do feeder workouts for the shoulders, 100 reps front and 100 rear with light weight.
I got the "can do, whatever it takes" attitude |

Most fruit and veg are speed foods, which means they encourage faster weight loss |

It was a nightmare trying to eat 3500-4000 calories a day coming from lean protein, fruit and veg with less than 400 coming from carbs (non of it processed-quinoa or root veg only).
It was working out at 4 eggs a day, 2 chicken breasts, 4 chicken thighs and a couple of pork steaks or fish fillets a day.

I started a couple of weeks ago and I'm hating, hating, loathing and detesting it.
I'm not weighing myself so I don't know if I've lost any weight.
I'm trying to form good habits and lose some of the old, bad ones before I start obsessing over what the scales say.
I have 5 stone, possibly a bit more, to lose, so it's going to take a while. |

"I don't fancy the idea of a diet group.
I'm the same. Doing it alone seems to be working for me on the whole. If it stops working I might reconsider."
I'm not sure I am losing weight at the moment. It's more about not eating processed food, eating more vegetables and fresh food, and generally being more healthy. One thing at a time. Once that gets more of a habit, I'll see where I'm at with my weight.
I took a starting weight but I'm not checking yet. |

I wish I could do it without going to the group classes. However, it's the discipline of the weekly weigh in that helps keep me on track at present. |

I have to be in the right headspace. I failed last year to get anywhere at all, despite several attempts. I couldn't stick at it. |

I have to agree with you about being in the right head space. I've lost count of my number of failed attempts over the years. I just seem to be in the right place physically and mentally this time. The group helps by acting as a bit of extra support / conscience. |

"I'm trying to put on weight.
To gain weight, you must consume more calories than you burn with physical activity
Ideally low carb diet"
This I do know, thanks for the kind advice tho. I'm an ectomorph, so bulking up is hard' especially being a vegan. |

I've stayed the same too, not really back on it properly until next week as January was way too busy & I knew I'd set myself for a fall.
Need to get into a better exercise routine, that's where I'm failing at the moment. |

It's all about being in the right place mentally for me. My weight is totally related to how in control I feel of the rest of my life. I know exactly how to lose weight, whether I do or not is completely dependent on mental state. Still not quite in the zone this time around but getting there. I need the accountability of weekly group weigh in too (not that it kept me on track last week though!) |

I've complained to my gum too as they have messed around with the class timetable - the only reason I joined was because they had classes I wanted to do that fitted in perfectly with work & childcare!! |

It's a pain when they do that, I can't fit any classes I like into my day so I stick with the gym.
30 mins treadmill & 20 mins weights today, not bad going for my 1st day back |

I have rejoined slimming world again and have lost 11lbs up to now.
I have signed up for a 5k race in May so that is my motivation. Less weight to carry round the course.
I have lots to lose though |

"Lost 3 and 1/2 lb this week. Finally got my head around the new weight watchers smart points.
I've heard the weekly points are different now?"
It's new points completely. Now it's calculated individually taking your age and weight into consideration. The new plan also looks at diet and exercise and mood. Acknowledging how your mood affects what you eat. Took we a while to get my head from pro points to smart points. The calories, fat, sugar and protein content of food gives the points. Bit complicated initially, but really pleased with the result. The 3 and 1/2 lb weight loss was a week I had bad cold and missed gym. Weight watchers definitely worth considering. |

I'm not on a conventional diet per se...
but I have been trying to eat healthier whilst also doing Dry January...and have lost 14lbs so far so I may just lay off the booze for a while longer, as I quite like feeling a bit less 'lumpy' around my midriff...I also do a bit of walking as it's very hilly where I live |

I did some batch cooking today and made bolognese, special fried rice and chicken curry, all syn free on SW.
Also got myself an air fryer to make healthier chips and stuff.
Today myself and another fabber went lingerie shopping and I fitted into a size 14 slip, totally gobsmacked!
Between that and my size 16 jeans, I'm feeling pretty good! |

Still plodding along. Think I've lost all my "easy" weight and I'm getting into the zone where I have to struggle for every sodding pound. Which is annoying given that there's 3.5 stone to go. Need to up the exercise. |
