Scientists have measured more than 15,000 men’s penises in an effort to find out what size is “normal”.
Researchers at King’s College London and a London NHS trust said they hoped the review would help address “the concern that some men have about their penis size” and aid people suffering from anxiety and distress.
They revealed that the average flaccid penis is 3.6ins (9.16cm) long, or 5.2ins (13.24cm) when stretched, and 3.7ins (9.31cm) in circumference
Erect penises are 5.1ins (13.12cm) long on average and 4.5ins (11.66cm) in girth. |

Yes I'd say that's the average length!
On fab -however- I'd say the average is larger!
In case you hadn't noticed - many women have no problem saying exactly what they want in terms of body type, penis size etc - and guys who don't fit the criteria can sometimes find it much harder to get meets! Ergo guys with small willies tend to leave the site before long - unless they're into some form of cuck play. Can't be good for the ego looking at other profiles with huge willies all the time!

I don't worry about my penis size.
If that is all I had to offer, I'd give up.
But for every five size queens, There is a request for cocks no bigger than...
You can't please everyone.
As for my personal dimensions, I've usually said the larger side of average. But I thought the average was larger than this study calculated.

Due to the size of the survey sample (no pun intended) there may be other factors at play.
I have seen research that states some asian genetic types have smaller penises than other cultures.
Overweight guys can also give less than average readings due to fat in the area.. (a female gym instructor friend of mine always tells overweight guys that a benefit of losing weight is tgeir cock will look bigger!) Assuming the measurement was taken against the pubic bone, if the tape measure cant reach it it will affect the readings.. |

I've always told people I'm fairly average length/girth.....seems I am a fair few percentage points above from this study! But I'll keep my description thanks...probably around the "fab" average! |

The sample is important.
The men happy to whip it out in public is going to have a very different size mid-point compared to the fellas taking part in an NHS penis size survey.
I'm about 6.5 and I am at the lower end of average of the people who take cock shots. |

At some time in a males life you will be conscious of penis size as this is what society makes us, but where you may have a small penis flaccid as 'myself' but it makes up for that when aroused. So moral been 'your either a grower or a shower' the latter been large flaccid and not much larger erect.. |

Actually no-one took part in the NHS survey; if you read it, they took the results of 17 other surveys; checked how those surveys were done, then amalgamated them and presented the results in a series of graphs and tables.
It's all pointless anyway; it has been known ( ever since I can remember) that the average Cock is 5.2 inches. There have been countless surveys.

And without getting too geeky average is an average term as well - mean, median, etc.
I wonder how they measured girth? Thickest point? Average along length? In the middle?
