I love my cats but
Jump to: Newest in thread
It's not very often I say you bloody cats but I've said it twice today. First when one had thrown up over the throwmid only washed and put back on yesterday and now one is walking round with a tin of tapioca on her head and won't stand still for me to clean it off |

"Our Lily" is almost ten, but still chases round like a manic kitten. Her latest thing is walling across computer keyboards, sitting on colouring books and knocking colouring pencils & pens onto the floor.
She's also developed the most irritating habit - involving me in particular - of going to the bathroom to have a drink from the bath tap as she always does, but lately she just sits there and stares at the tap. |

"Now I feel guilty as they are all curled up like little lambs
Give it about ten minutes. " one of mine has been sulking for three weeks, won't come down of the top of the kitchen unit apart from to eat and go to the toilet |

I came home after a couple of days away for mine to cling to me right up until I went to bed. Usually he.comes with me and curls up on the bed or under the throw.
This time he hung around in the bedroom doorway just watching me.
When I first got into bed I sat and read for a while, then I put my book down and stretched out under the duvet to sleep only to encounter... Eurgggghhhh!
At this point he fled and hid under the spare bed!
He'd obviously burrowed under my duvet while I was away and got caught short with a furball!

My diabetic cat needs feeding and injecting with insulin every 12 hours. Unfortunately she can't wait 12 hours so wakes me up by scratching the carpet at anywhere between 4:00 am and 5:30 am, when my alarm is set for 6am. Not nice when I've only gone to bed at midnight |

Has anyone else opened the tin of catfood and thought "mmm that looks tasty"
Forget dogfood as that is more or less the same in appearance and odour at either end of the dog but some of these gourmet cat foods look right nice.
Surely one little lick wouldn't hurt? |

That look and attitude is a big part of why I love them so much.
Hmmm maybe scratch (no pun intended) that last part. I'll admit it, I'm obsessed with them |

Our fur baby is cute as a button but loves winding us up by screaming at the front room doors (we have to have them closed to keep the heat in) and she makes us get up over and over, only to walk off or just watch our ever more tired faces. We love her more than anything in the world though. |

We have 3 dogs that each have there own funny ways and wouldn't change them for the world.
Cats are totally different characters with far bigger personalities we miss having a cat about the house ours died last year due to poisoning we can only assume from rat poisoning used on the allotments near to us we would really love another cat but wont risk the same happening enjoy your feline friends guys remember you dont own them they own you x x x

We have a massive German Shepherd who is completely owned by a black kitten no bigger than his nose. |
