I actually always read the profile. I hate short ones as I like to gain some sort of personality from the user.
I actually read first then look at pictures. |

Ours is very long, we like interesting profiles, you can learn a lot about people by reading profiles.
If people find ours boring and can't be bothered to read it then they are the kind of people we will not be meeting.

Very few men have very long profiles, but I do tend to lose interest quickly if they do.
I prefer men who can give salient info concisely, not ones who blather on or, even worse, have the old 'you sit at a bar, your hard nipples straining against the fabric of your black dress...' blah blah blah. |

I am all for putting something down. Something that gives a brief insight into who the fuck where the fuck and why the fuck you are here.

No-one has to read it - and there are no code-words to be seen!
I don't meet most of the people who read my profile - so the least I can do is try to give them a giggle!

I don't know if our profile is long or not.what I do know is anythingyou are likely to need to know about us before contemplating meeting us is there to read.in fact we prefer not to hear from folk that haven't taken the time to read it( a massive 20 seconds approx)

I like a profile that give you a bit of an idea about them but if it don't fit on one page its to long for me

This ^ I add to mine as and when and over 6 years it's become quite long but if someone can't be arsed to read it then asks me things I've stated on it then their messages are instantly deleted , I'll live |

I'm usually the same. Short profile is indicative of low effort and lacking in forethought for what others probably need.
I'm glad there's no standard length here as it gives people a chance to share what they feel is right. I've never found any profile that's too long. |

Preferred longer profiles. As long as it's knot fill of rubbish like users having a bitch about other users lot profiles on here like that. With endless Crap in there profile before you actually get to the meaning of the profile if you get what I mean lol |
