Ha ha bit misleading but now I have your attention
Thinking about starting to do some contracting work. Any of you kind folks got any advice on the business side of things? it would be appreciated.
Not sure if I have to set up a business or if there's another/better way of doing it.
Thanks |

You'll need to identify your target market and how to get to your target market through promotions, advertisement, cash flow may also become a issue at first so suggest you do not have a credit scheme just now as youll probably start with a bit of debt from setting up the business .for example with your said IT contracting there is many sub sectors to the IT world like CAD, CAM, EPOS, etc. There is also a lot of legal things you'll have to look into such as the type of business you set up whether its corporated or incorporated as I'm guessing its a small business your looking to set up I suggest a partnership with someone with plenty of money to help get the business on its feet there would need to be a deed of partnership drawn up between you both though
Hope the jargon wasn't too bad for you |
