I had a meet with a sexy guy who posted a topic on here and i responded giving my opinion. It led to friend request. We liked each other's pics.we arranged to meet. We did meet and had a gud time. Result!! |

We met through the forum, and both of us had a fair few meets as singles from here too and count them as great friends...It may not appeal to everyone but it does give a great insight into someone's personality...someone who looks totally hot and you fancy like crazy might seem like a good prospect but when they act like a narcissistic twat or reveal their inner-idiot on forum posts you can make an informed choice without having to do the "escape through the toilet windows in the pub" move |

Most of my recent meets have arisen due to chats from the forums or being seen on here. When I first joined the site I used to do local searches or look at local meet requests. I never do that now and base my Fab activity mainly around the Forums. |

All my real friends, everyone I talk to and all the fun and games I have lined up ALL come from the forums. And most of those things weren't initially instigated by me either.
I stopped cold-messaging women on here a long time ago. I found it totally demoralising and nigh on impossible to even get a reply. Turns out the forums are the only way I can find anyone to interact with. At this moment in time they work for me. |

I've had men message me who have spotted me on the forums. I've met 3 so far. It doesn't feel incestuous because I don't get close enough to anyone to form bonds. It's just incidental that they saw me here instead of searching. |

I've had a few forum meets. More off forum though. I don't like the occasional shouting it from the forum rooftops I sometimes see when two forumites hook up; it makes me cringe a little bit. It's also tricky when you like someone as a forum poster but aren't interested in meeting them since I find it much harder to let someone down when I'll see them around, even if it is only virtually. |

I haven't actually messaged with a _iew to meeting another forumite solely from their posts on the forum, and it's not something I would particularly look for. I don't like things too clicky and I like discretion and I know that people discuss other meets and gossip on here.
I have been to socials and have met forumites in the flesh.
Once at a social I did meet a guy who introduced himself and I had previously seen him in a club, we had got chatting then but it was nearing closing time. At the social we chatted again and he is a friend and I would meet if the situation presents itself. He is not overly regular on the forum

I have met people from forums but I find chat rooms quite good as if you go in a regional one the chances of being closer geographically is better. Plus if they have cam on you get a good look at them. Chatting in room always seems easier that messaging to me. I have made some wonderful friends from forums and chat as well.
