Nope.. all musicians I have known have been to full of themselves..

but then again as I am very musical maybe its why.

Like drummers though.. they have such rhythm..

drummers have massive egos never met one without! there always wanting to be the lead guy in the band! soon as they start playing up they send the whole band out of time! but saying that it could be said for the whole band except bass! every !bass player i've met there so laid back they just go with whatever every body else wants.

it's pretty easy to pick up and play guitar! theres loads of turorial videos on youtube! ultimateguitar.com have millions of song chords and tabs! just need to get a guitar! but trust me the more you spend on the guitar! better the quality by a mile! all the encore and cheap rubbish sold at argos are bloody awful! playing a guitar isn't a hobby it's a way of life.

I have been to Appleby's in town when they have had live acts, and often pop along to The Spinning Wheel in Paignton on summer evenings when they have bands on.

we're both professional musicians and you'd think we'd get offers all the time, we certainly thought that when we started, but then we're not that hot (though we are n the best band in the world!!) its not an easy life but its a good one! xx

I was a pro session musician in my (very much) younger days. Did work for the Jam, Culture Club, the Pogues and Modern Romance among others but got fed up with being in dank studios at ridiculous hours. I still play, but only privately and like to learn new instruments. My latest desire is a set of bagpipes

thats true to some extent, but you still need some natural rythym about you

Agree about buying a startyer guitar form argos ect. much better to visit you local idenpendant music shop. tell them you are just starting out, they will not laugh at you, but sell you something decent and playable, and also possibly recomend someone who can teach yuo aswell

when i was learning had lessons from a guy i met in a local pub, how little ddi i know about him, he had sessioned and toured with some of country musics finest (he is now deceased unfortunatly)

after one lesson i had with him i was atill in the paub and it was jam night, one of the local legends picked my cheap plywood guitar up, and made it sing, anything can sound good in the right hands, look at Seasick Steve

Sorry for going OT the words just flowed

maybe so! but trust me! i've stuck some god awful guitars through a pa system! and they sound droiny and bloody awful! saying that it is the setup that makes the difference sometimes! but a good guitar will always stand out a mile! but good one will set you back £500 plus if not a few thoudand!

What about ugly muscians though?

Surely for every hot musician in a band there are as many if not more that are less than appealing?

did a gig at an outdoor venue to about 300 people!! had to change some of the lyrics to the songs! because of certain expletives in the songs! i was so tempted to sing the original lyrics! but it was a charity gig with kids and families! so i chickened out of it! all i remember because it was outside the monitors werent working! so we couldnt hear a single thing we where playing!

I don't find it's their looks that do it, it's their fingers, voice, skill, passion. They draw you in, they're like hypnotists

Crap musicians, on the other hand, just make me cringe.

I keep buying guitars, last count was 25 electrics. I'm looking for a frisky lady who will pose for some tasteful naked pics showcasing both of their curves.

There's something about a naked lass, one of my Flying Vs round her neck, deep in concentration, tongue out, trying to hold down a chord. It makes me want to rip the guitar off her......and show her how to play properly.

And then shag her, obviously.
