If the rock don't want to be climbed, you don't climb it, simples.... or you top rope it, if you really got to do it.
No need to go drilling holes in it lol. |

I'm neither here nor there regarding sport. there are about a dozen bolted routes where I am based. I had no choice but to climb trad from the off.
I take it you climb? |

I am (well, probably out of date now) SPSA qualified.
Havent climbed a great deal in the last 10 years, but looking to get back into it properly this year, probably have to replace most of my kit. When I did climb I was very much a trad guy, no cleaning, red-pointing or top roping, you did it "on site, ground up" or you walked away lol.
I did do some sports climbs, my best being an E3 lead with two dyno moves, but have to say around here theres enough climbing of all grades to keep me busy without getting out the Black and Decker kit lol |
