I'm not a massive user of Facebook but I do pop on there now and again. I was very surprised to just find a message folder called "hidden message requests" that I didn't even know existed.
It has about 20 messages in it and two of them were from people who ( independantly) have been trying to find me from about 25 years ago in my life.
I was really shocked. I would suggest that maybe have a look on Facebook and find your hidden requests in your messenger as you might have a few surprises in there. I certainly did! |

I don't believe you can look at your 'other or hidden' messages on phones, used to only be using a laptop. Maybe it's now been altered.

oh mine doesn't say anything about message requests it just comes up with my normal friends requests

The "Other" Inbox got retired already, this is the replacement that they failed to mention at all!

"You CAN find it on your phone!
In Messenger, go to:
SETTINGS
PEOPLE
MESSAGE REQUESTS
and then at the bottom is "SEE FILTERED REQUESTS"."
That's only possible if you have the messenger app on your phone not via the Facebook messages  |

They are on messenger if you have Facebook messenger installed, go to settings, people, filtered requests (sorry if someone has said this but can't be arsed to read the whole thread) |
