Do any of you have any phobias that people might think that are strange/weird?
My friends and family find it funny that I have a phobia of stairs and escalators.  |

I'm scared of stairs with open backs, where you can see beneath. Also I hate bridges and piers where you can see beneath.... It's not so much a fear of heights though.
Still not a great fan of escalators but think that's due to my mum telling me to stay away from the side as it would pull you under... I know it won't now! (more so cos my bum too big to get pulled under)
Scared of spiders... I've slept on the sofa one night cos there was one in my bedroom!!
I'm a wimp lol xx |

I have really bad Noscomphobia. It's a fear of hospitals.
I get so bad that I can't breathe through my nose in them. I feel sick. My skin crawls and I feel like I'm suffocating. If I go to visit my mum when she's in I last about 15 min then I have to leave. I go straight home for a shower and my clothes have to then go in the wash.
A couple of years back I got really ill and they tried to keep me. I signed myself out twice and eventually the realised that it was better to treat me as a day patient.
Sadly my fear seems to now be extending to the drs too  |
