Not many of the "greats" left. They seem to be dropping like flies. At least their legacies will live on in the fantastic music they have left for those of us that remember them.

We're told the cause of death was a combination of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia.

Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November. We're told in the last few days his condition took a turn for the worse. He died in New York City.

I still remember that night in a field in paddock wood 2011 watching the eagles at the hop farm festival. The sun was setting as they started to play hotel california. A night I will never forget..
