Too many typos so start again! Quite a few guys have stated to me that many ladies on fab are arrogant with delusions of grandeur! Presumably because they have declined to chat? I'd say that a few ladies (maybe 1 in 6 or so) are like this.

I had a lady a few weeks ago give me a right roasting for not 'giving her the attention she deserves' (her exact words). She explained that hundreds of men love her and that I should be paying a lot more attention to her if i was expecting to have sex with her!

This sort of thing happens some times.

Ofcourse, it was an instant, "thank you very much hun, you're not my type" from me... Followed by a block from her!

I've hardly ever had shitty messages on here but the ones i have had came from guys i haven't replied to instantly. They're the ones with illusions of grandeur...like i should reply to them the instant they demand attention. Fuck those guys, they're knobs.

I do not do the 'polite' thing and reply to guys i have no interest in either. If i am up my own arse then i'm happier up here than out of it and replying to every single guy who thinks he's entitled to a reply.

People have their reasons for doing what they do on here and i'm sure lack of communication makes it confusing for some people to understand why. But people have reasons for hiding how they work on here so that others can't get round their selection process.

One or two might be; just as in real life;

Others are very " direct". That's OK with me; but a lot of men can't cope with women who are direct ; usually because they lack self confidence or are insecure; and want women to be subservient. ( not in a sexual sub/ Dom way; that's a different matter.)

The majority are just normal women.

Other men are " up themselves " and think that they are god's gift, when they aren't .... And then get all bitter when they are knocked back.

And of course, given the ratio of men to women, then the women can be choosy ; the equivalent of a " buyer's market" for them....

I get why they do it. Just fucking impolite, impatient, demanding, abusive even, and think that anyone with a profile on the internet is available for them. They don't understand the meaning of mutual either.

I do try to reply to as many unsolicited messages as possible, even if it's, 'thanks, but no thanks'. Even though it states on my profile that I am not meeting anyone new,. Most times I get a polite thanks back, but sometimes I receive a load of abuse - result sender blocked.

To be honest I have always found people in the forums to be rather jolly. Always friendly and up for a chuckle.

I am sure there are some.women on the site and men too who hold them selves in high esteem.

Though chatting to my female chums on here , they get so many messages from men it would be a full time job just replying.

I work on the principle, if I send a message and no reply. Then that person is not interested and move on .

Best way to be , just enjoy the site for what it is and don't worry about people who don't find you attractive their age limits dont meet your age

It's a British female trait, you see a good percentage of women in the UK walking around as if they are gods gift. The majority of whom are scruffy, or badly made up, out of shape with their noses in the air and a self belief of over-inflated attractiveness that they don't deserve.

Go to the USA, Italy, Scandinavia, Russia etc. The women are more approachable, better dressed, stylish, demure, elegant, more well groomed, more polite, less arrogant...the list goes on.

On the flip side there are some beautiful people out there in the UK who's personalities outshine appearance or they have great attitude, but as a rule, I prefer other culture's female attitudes.

Just my opinion...for what it's worth

I suppose for some women, considering many get a zillion messages a day from men trying to sleep with them it's easy at first to let it go to your head, hence the inflated ego. When 50 guys coming onto you every day becomes an everyday thing it's kind of unsurprising.

I usually give more time, attention and care to each person contacting me than they - usually single guys - have to me. I am fairly typical of the single females here and feel we all largely deserve to be in the Queens honours list, for our services to mankind.

All genders have people who feel entitled, up their own arses etc. Spend more of your energy invested in being thoughtful and attentive than projecting the reasons for being dissatisfied onto others. You are as good, or as good, as you allow yourself to be. Go for it.

I also disagree. On my travels, I have met with a fair share of varying cultures. All places I've visited, have had a mixture of both modest and arrogant people. Yes, both men and women.

Although our experiences give us a basis to form our thoughts and future actions, we should be open minded. Don't single out a large group of women based on a minority.

I've been on and off fab over the past 3 years... And can absolutely say I'm guilty of having a rant about pompous women on fab. And not because they don't reply to your first message. I usually find they will chat arrange a meet or two and never turn up, or normally approach you but are absolute rotters, you decline politely and they go off on one about how I should be grateful of their interest.... It appears that there is this belief that men on fab won't turn women down....ive turned several down, for various reasons. There are I'm sure men here who are equally as arrogant.... It's very much an issue on here without a way to address it, many of the ladies have discovered Fab and maybe for the first time in their lives they are getting lots of attention, this has an effect on them in that they can become intolerant, angry and develop an inflated ego, this is driven by the messages they recieve, so maybe the "wanna fuck?" Messages need to be toned down along with the "you're the sexiest lady I've ever seen" nonsense x

What about women like me that are a little bit arrogant anyway and were before they joined this site and have all filters on so no bastard can message me unless I message them first? There are some VERY rude, arrogant women on here, but also men too.

Many women (and men for that matter) exhibit blatant double standards and sexism especially on the forums, and that can be off putting for many. It is a shame because double standards and hypocrisy are very unedifying traits and make people seem very unpleasant. I wonder if the forums are worse because there is an air of detachment as you are a) showing off to others and b)not usually speaking directly to someone which means some may feel able to exhibit some of their base traits which they would otherwise see fit to suppress.

You're just assuming people will only say things on here because they can hide behind a screen sort of thing. Its still annoying though, that when i say "sorry not my type" i'm subjected to a torrent of foul mouthed rants by women on fab.
