So far this weekend on the Forums we have seen people claim how the few control the many and keep the little person down!
Do people really believe there is an elite world order running things from behind the scenes?
I spend many a happy time reading conspiracy theories but never really buy them (I wonder if that's what they want me to think?)
I'm off to read up on bohemian grove. |

"I only know what Beyonce tells me.
I was actually going to post a reply of "GIRLS!" but you beat me to it GC "
Got to admit when I typed out the title this song popped in my head and has remained there. |

It's human nature to start by blaming other people for the things in life you don't like, whilst taking personal credit for all the good things you've achieved.
Therefore, there will always be people claiming there's a big conspiracy keeping them down because it's easier than taking personal responsibility for your own decisions and life.
The bottom line is that there's never been a period of history where the masses are better educated, living as long, having as much leisure time and having access to opportunities.
If that's the result of the conspiracy then long may it live. |

A lot of things always seem to be someone else's fault.
When someone puts up a thread about a parking fine thread or asking for debt advice it's always a majority of people saying and advising they should wriggle out of it. Rather than face up to responsibility. |

Bohemian groove and the bilderberg group is just another big group of human collusion.
It's not really a big surprise that extremely wealthy people meet up with other people, who let's say have a position of influence!.
I once joined a cycling club and we'd get together and collude on the best way to run our road race on the peoples highway..
I also joined a fishing club and we colluded on what times are best to avoid the bailiff if you wanted to avoid buying a licence.
Let me get this straight though.. I don't think they give a rats arse about running the world, just making more money or avoiding more tax!... After all when your Richard branson you can buy an island and run your own country pretty much how you like.

There are some people who genuinely had bad luck or just happened to be born in a shit hole with no opportunities. However, the majority of this people do not qualify for that.

I think that's a very narrow minded way of looking at it . The masses you refer to are people like us in well off countries. If you could look past that to the state of the rest of the world for a second. There are wars going on, people starving, masses of refugees trying to find safety, terrorism.
I do believe there are big shots who make the rules and it is well out of our control , We are just lucky enough to live in one of the ruthless thieving countries who are prepared to destroy other whole countries for greed .
I think parking tickets etc are probably your own fault though |

See those are conspiracy theories.
Bilderberg and bohemian grove are genuine real things where real billionaires get together with real politicans to collude about how best for those people to get wealthier...
That's really no big surprise but they are conspiring to collude!.
If there was nothing underhand going on, I'm pretty sure there'd release videos... They love releasing videos to help the poor people understand what there doing!

And...according to some conspiracy theories she is leader of the lizard/reptilian so that actually run the world...lol!
Personally I see the actual people running the world are the big corporations....not a conspiracy theory...just observational. Politicians and governments are just there to make us think they are and that our votes can actually make a difference (other than minor tweaking at the edges) |

So despite everything that's been exposed and proven so far you don't believe people are running things on your behalf?
Despite there being a justice system, that you (and nobody you know) created, you still think nobody else is making the rules?
Despite people being arrested and imprisoned for exposing government crimes and corruption, you don't think there's someone out there hiding things (or trying to)?

No its far too simplistic (hence the appeal).
The idea that a group of people is running the world , even if evil, is more comforting than accepting the chaotic uncontrolled reality of the situation.

I once read a very good bit of analysis on water.
Only 2.5% of the world's water is fresh and of that 2.5% only 0.03% is in rivers and lakes or easily useable |

All you need to do is find out who is funding the governments, who profits from their policies, and then you'll see that is who's running things. |

Also you can't drink salt water or water your crops with it or put it in an engine but then you can't with normal water either
There are trials being run watering crops with salt water. " .
Oh yeah there's a few you can, some grasses and a few plants.
The trouble is your left with either a crop with very high salt content or salt all over your soil!... I actually experimented on it in my allotment.. It didn't turn out good |

"So despite everything that's been exposed and proven so far you don't believe people are running things on your behalf?
Despite there being a justice system, that you (and nobody you know) created, you still think nobody else is making the rules?
Despite people being arrested and imprisoned for exposing government crimes and corruption, you don't think there's someone out there hiding things (or trying to)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zFcIx30Pic
The fact that the government runs things is not being questioned. I'm going deeper. Deep deep deep
The government kind of run things.
All you need to do is find out who is funding the governments, who profits from their policies, and then you'll see that is who's running things."
So 1997 to 2010:
Who is running things: Labour
Who funds them: Trade unions
Who profits from Trade Unions: Their members |

They be the lizards . Remember V?"
I'm not sure what David Icke means by lizard people and shapeshifters, but he talks some sense sometimes.
Noam Chomski knows a lot of political history and what is happening right now. He has a 'leftie' agenda but if you can ignore that then you'll learn a lot from him. |

Hydrogen engines can be just as bad for the climate as anything else. |

"And, anyway, what good would be an engine that runs on water? Have you seem the price of bottled water? Petrol and dielsel (without the government fuel tax) is far cheaper..
That's the illusion of bottled water through the magic of marketing... Mains water costs 0.01p per bottle

The trouble with the people who think hydrogen engines will somehow be the future is..
They've not really thought it out.
For instance getting hydrogen from salt water, you put one and a half kw of energy into separating the hydrogen which only gives you a kw of energy back!.
Then you think petrol is risky to store and transport!.
There might be some usage from it, but it ain't replacing the combustion engine anytime soon |

why?"
It takes alot of energy to refine the water. The bi product of a hydrogen engine is water vapour which contributes massively to climate change. |

That's a bit simplistic but you've got the idea, yes.
If we want certain things for ourselves in society we often have to push for it ourselves by grouping together because financially we don't hold much value to have influence that way.
When we recognise our own value (not monetary value but other ways we contribute) and our own place in society then we push our own agendas forward to benefit ourselves. When we don't recognise we have anything other than a financial value then we allow all kinds of unnatural things to take place.
We used to have people working for nothing, literally fuck all except one meal a day (to keep them alive to produce more profit for an exclusive few people), we'd still be living like this if we hadn't pushed forward our own agenda of wanting a life for ourselves. I do believe certain people would like us to go back to these times.
A lot of people slag off socialism but without it we would have nothing. I really think people running things would prefer this, which is why certain media is allowed to run itself the way it does.

The justice system was not created. It evolved.
Imagine a little village thousands of years ago.
First, they needed to ensure that the big bad wolf didn't continue killing villagers. So, the villagers rally around and agree to provide food to a villager is willing to act as the village wolf-killer.
As time goes by, it transpires that one villager is sneaking out at night and stealing corn from another villager to fund the wolf-killer dues.
So, the village has to decide what to do with the naughty villager. Hence the judicial system. |

The world is just organised chaos with various organisations trying to keep a lid on hotshots that appear. Ultimately bodies try to steer things as they see fit, but their control is often down to luck also.
I work in an occupation the media is always spinning conspiracy stories on....it makes me chuckle as they haven't a clue and very few of us do about who runs what. |

Good topic right up my street.
I dunno if I belive in a group of people running the world as such but seems strange that there is the 1% club who have more money between them than the hole world toghter.
And it does seem amazing in this day and age the world is still so unbalanced here I am typing this on my smart phone. In my nice home plenty of food and clean water yet. There is still people living outdoors in the cold with nothing to there name. But we worry about what will be on the TV tonight. With the growing alternative new media outlets we are slowy seeing the sad state of the world which only 10-20 years ago we never saw much of and told it was all ok.
People these days just focus on them self's and there needs rather than the needs of a planet we all share. The other day a guy left the cash point and forgot his money I took it out and took it to him it was quite a large amount of money and I did not even get so much of a thanks of the guy he just took it and walked off. |
