Went out for a drive in it (haven't driven in snow before, only passed my test just under a year ago so thought i'd get some practice at 2am when there'd be nobody about) and nope, nobody about, just a ton of taxis driving badly (thanks for indicating after you've started to turn, dick!).
It is pretty slippy outside though, roads haven't been salted around here so it was a bit precarious doing anything at normal speed. So yeah, everyone'll be dawlding along at 15mph come the morning :P |

I have to venture out in a couple of hours but until then staying firmly in my bed so no idea if it's snowed here or not.
But t'other day our estate was a bit of an un-salted skid pan when it was just icy so I'm sure a light dusting will cause all sorts of carnage |

our road is long and very bendy with a zillion speed bumps on it - never gets gritted and we still have fresh snow when its cleared everywhere 3 days before - add on fifteen minutes to the day just to get out of the road as its almost a mile long not quite at that stage yet snow is aout an inch thick |

Gotta admit in the mids the snow is major driving a challenge
A 5 minute journey took 15, but mainly as I stuck to the busier roads which aren't the shortest route. Now say at work looking at snow! |

Just got in from a 12 hour night shift, all the roads apart from one 2 mile stretch in the sticks had been gritted so it was relatively a piece of piss. Not much traffic about which helped.
Panic , what panic, just get off your arse ten minutes earlier, clear all the snow off your windows and lights, and take it nice and steady. |

"Do I need to start panic buying yet?"
Definitely. Just buy all the essentials so nobody else can have em, then toss it all in the bin 2 days later cos you can't scoff it all before the 'rot buy' date. |
