Yep, they are smaller, Like everything today. (Quality Street Tins used to be 1.8kg and £5. Now 984grms and still get em for £5) Mars Bars are now 54grms and they used to be 68! (in our Waitrose)

A guy on the morning news (BBC1) from poundland, actually admitted that the goods you buy in his stores may well be specials and reduced in size! Need to keep stuff under £1!!!

Cream eggs, How do I eat mine? I give it to someone who likes them!! Way too sickly for me and I eat many too many swwets

Just for information, Quality street in the last four years (Last 1.8kg tins) have gone up in price per Kg from £2.77 to £5.08! And remember, that is what they are on "Special". They rekon that they are usually £9.99 so double those prices!!!!

in the night garden

When I was a kid I used to call them '20p lick outs'.

This is an indication of my depravity even as youngster but also that I'm very old, as it's a long time since those chocolate fondent fannys were 20p

Beeston

I just bite them, lick a bit of filling out and bite a bit more.

Sometimes I even unwrap them as well.
