Your favourite David Bowie Song?

After the sad news this week of David Bowie passing away, what is your your favourite Bowie song? Mine is This is not America. Not one of his biggest and most well known hits, but it's the Bowie track I've always listen to the most.

Wasn't really into David Bowie's music, but the song I always remember and I'd class as my fave Bowie song is Ashes to Ashes. I remember that one the most from my school days, along with that video. Cool

Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with Wierd and Gilly and The Spiders from Mars. He played it left hand, but made it too far,

Became the special man, then we were Ziggy's Band.

Ziggy really sang, screwed up eyes and screwed down hairdo, Like some cat from Japan...

Gene genie takes me back to a particular moment in my personality development. I was 18 and at a friends birthday party and asked the dj for some Bowie.

He played gene genie, no one else was dancing but I didn't care and got up and strutted my funky stuff. My friends loved it. My boyfriend tried to actually pull me off the dance floor!!! He later asked me if I had any idea how embarrassed he was

That was the first time I looked at someone and decided never to give.them power over me and my happiness. I was so happy dancing and knew that if he couldn't share that he wasn't worth my time.

David Bowie taught a lot of us to go our own way even if you get funny looks or comments.

Starman - Moonage Daydream. Sadly when I saw him in 1987 at Wembley he was in the mindset of not playing much of the old stuff so was really disappointed
