I have found on a number of occasions that men go on about 'never or hardly getting meets' so at times when i suggest am up for a meet they complain am too far. Is 40 mins to an hour to far to come? I dont drive so they have to come to me. |

Of course not ..... Gentleman have travelled hours to meet me and if he couldn't be bothered to travel 40
minutes then I'm sure you couldn't be bothered to meet him.....a lunch break is around 45 mins as is a gym session or a TV show or even a bath ...... UK is such a small country what's an hours drive out of someone's life .....!!!!!!
Be encouraged you don't need to meet a fellow who says you are too far away instead of him saying "I don't want to drive that distance as the cost of my time and money may outweigh a potential benefit" so I won't risk it....
Pffffff - there are some lovely gentleman on FAB where distance is not an issue ...

We each have different preferences on this. Some never in contact with very local people. In such a situation the ops contact would probably never get meets.
Where I live it can sometimes take a quarter of an hour to get a mile or so, so 45 minutes could be seen as a local jaunt.
Gone are the days when I've lived and breathed upon a very local piece of turf. 30 minutes travel is very, very local, so is done all the time.
If someone wants a 2 second shag then 40 minutes travel is a lot by contrast. I've commuted by plane, so distance is just a barrier because of a limited mindset.
Most of us would be sensible and arrange other things to do additionally, if we were meeting over long distances.
Some don't travel or accommodate, which probably cuts their options even further. |
