Slightly random for FAB I know but someone may have the answer I'm looking for........can I change my conservatory light/fan for standard corded pendent light shade?

Yes. It should be a simple enough task, if you are competent with a screwdriver, know which colour wires are which, and remember to disconnect the lighting circuit beforehand (fuse or circuit breaker, not just off at the light switch).

If you aren't sure, ask someone who knows what they are doing. Is best to get help anyway, as it can be awkward holding things in place (like the new light fitting), while attaching wires.

if you know what a loop in system is then fine, but if you don't get someone who's knows to do it for you..... it gets a bit confusing with the switch wire if you don't know what you're doing
