If there is,he is planning a great party.
Tall man from phantasm as door security.
Bowie&lemmy providing the entertainment.
Alan Rickman as the guest speaker.
Who's gonna do the catering though???????? |

"I can help you there OP. There isn't.
Presumably you mean in your opinion and aren't arrogant enough to believe you're always right (unlike me!)."
In my opinion, which is admittedly often flawed. However, of all the opinions I have this is one I am most convinced that I'm right on.. but respect others views to believe otherwise

It's sad when people die, my partner is at his best friends funeral today who was coincidentally also 69.
But three famous ones all had cancer which we didn't know about, and although still sad it might not have come as such a shock if we had have known. |

It is beyond my understanding.. how some people can observe the working me the planet and the life upon it and happily conclude a god exists
Let me be absolutely clear before the haters jump in
I am not saying they should not or even that they are wrong, I say I am unable to understand why or how they do , and as an empath this confounds me xxx |

I suppose we could just ditch Science and believe in UFOs and ET. So much easier. |

You understand that Mr Rickman was human, right? That humans aren't immortal? Everyone currently alive will, irrespective of whether God exists or not, eventually die? |

Billions of people have died. Billions more will. The only way most humans can deal with anticipating the end of consciousness is a belief in it's continuation in some way. No human has ever come back from death to tell us one way or another.
Scary innit? |

I've been clinically dead twice so technically I'm qualified to tell you that there's bugger all awaiting us when we die!
No angels, no pearly gates, no horned beasts and no seven gates of hell. Its just nothingness for all eternity.

"So we've had wars where millions of people die, but the death of a few Slebs has got you wondering?
Right "
Yes odd isn't it.
In the old days it was only royalty that were considered immortal.
However there seems to be a bit of a massacre going on lately.
A 'Cull Celebre' perhaps? |

Christians say one guy has come back and have documented it. That's the point of the religion really! |

That is interesting, as I take the completely opposite view that how can anyone who observes how nature works not come to the conclusion that there isn't someone who has created it and maintains it. I can't conceive how it could all hold together after a big bang. Just saying. |

What part does science play in feelings and emotions?
Why we fall in love with one person and why we're not attracted to someone else.
I'm not saying I think that a God exists but I also don't think you can use science to explain these things either. |

The chaotic interaction of neurons and chemicals . The only tool you have would be science and maths to help understand such things ? |

Lol if you think science and maths is about simple equations then of course you will be unable to understand xxx
The weather is beyond the prediction of humans and their super computers . This fact does not then equate that the physics behind earth's weather systems is , a, not robust , b , beyond human understanding, c, a system manifest only from time , energy and mass without any sentient design

Whilst I think I understand the outpouring of public grief when a celeb dies, spare a thought for the hundreds of people grieving the loss their lesser known loved ones dying in similar circumstances every day. |

I agree like my uncle died last month from cancer but its not an interesting topic to put on here. Therefore a musician or celeb is something we can all speak of in common and share the mutual respect. |
