Is having big boobs a pain in the arse?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Is having big boobs a bit of a drag? You always hear stories from women with big boobs having back pain and the like. And they usually say they wished they were smaller. Plus they must effect what clothes you buy. I guess they effect many aspects of daily life. What you can and can't do.
As a bloke I can't imagine what it's like having those things jiggling about in front of you 24/7. Quite cumbersome I'd have thought. I couldn't be doing with them myself. Then of course you get men perving at them all the time.
So I'm curious (not like that!) about what women think (even what smaller boobed women think). Pros and cons. A bit like having a massive cock (not that I'd know of course!) I'm guessing having larger boobs is not necessarily all it's cracked up to be. |

Maybe going slightly off topic here but I work with children and I feel I have to cover up even slightly low tops make me feel conscious if it shows cleavage. Sometimes, in the summer it'd be nice to wear something slightly lower without worrying |

I didn't realise how much I didn't like my big boobs until they shrunk. They where never gigantically massive but I was always more than ample.
Everything had to be over the shoulder bolder holders, thick straps and backs of bras, now I can wear little dainty things with thin straps.
And although I still look after my boobs I don't have to take so much care with the underneath sweating and feeling like I'm in a steel cage most of the time

Buying underwear is a pain. Clothes have started to fit better now that styles are changing. It used to be worse when I was a teen. You do find men look but it's not a big deal. |

I get back ache my shoulders hurt from bra straps. Finding a reasonably priced pretty bra is a nightmare.
People talk to my Boobs and not my face.. Clothes don't fit properly.
However they did their job and I breast feed my children.
Glad I'm smaller now I've lost weight happy with size now but could be smaller |

Mine were massive but then shrunk abit but still a 32GG which is never good. People always used to talk to my chest. I would normally mention that they don't answer back but for one birthday my friend had me a t-shirt made with "my face is up here" and an arrow pointing up. Used to make me chuckle when people would read it out loud then register what it said. They tended to be more embarrassed than me |

True there are mildly irksome things about having a slightly more than ample pair; however I can put up with the impossibility of finding anyone who sells a 30gg for less than a king's ransom, the requirement to wear two industrial strength sports bras at the gym and the fact that I knock ornaments over when I lean across tables, as I love my jiggly, squishy twins. |

Wouldn't swap my 36GGs for anything but bras are a lot pricier and harder to find, blouses never fit, and men can't take their eyes off them whatever I wear. Great for getting freebies, upgrades and served quickly though |

When I was younger I played a lot of sports and I hated having any boobs. I always wore sports bras, even to bed
Now that I'm older and don't play sports competitively, I do wish I had a little bigger - maybe a C cup. I think my body would be more proportionate (my lower half is too big for my upper half).
So I would say that for me, when I was active I did find boobs a hassle, but for my modern day to day lifestyle they don't get in the way at all.

My boobs don't give me backache.
I honestly don't take much notice of them and it was only from being on here that I realised they are bigger than average.
That's because at my work, there are women with bigger boobs than me
My colleagues don't stare at my boobs, they look at my face when talking to me and treat me as a person.
The cost of bras is the only issue I have with having bigger boobs to be honest. |

"I'd prefer to have small per boobs, would make running less painful & I'd be able to wear certain style of clothes which I can't get away with now."
This. I've had to buy a really tight, well-fitting sports bra and even then they're still banging around. It does make me slightly self conscious when on the treadmill. |

Exercise can cause them to hurt if you don't wear a decent bra .
Shoulder dents are the worst! But apart from that I'm quite happy with mine . Nobody has complained |

I only have the bra and clothes issue, they don't give men any pain although if I could swap them I would - I have spent £40 each on sports bras in the last couple of months because normal shops don't do them in a J. Some clothes just make you look super fat because they don't cut in well under massive boobs and sometimes those that do make you look like you've a massive belly to match. I plan to have mine reduced and lifted within the next 2 years |

How much should bras cost?
I don't see much change from £20 for 3 boxer shorts - |

If you get up above a G cup they are impossible to get in high Street stores, places that go bigger tend to be very expensive.
I have about 40 at last count but went a bit bra shopping crazy after I had mine done |

Mine are less big than they used to be but still annoying. I have a list of high street stores to avoid since although I can now buy clothes under a size 16 they all have different ratios and half of them are cut so they fit everywhere but my boobs. I have given up wearing shirts with buttons since I have to safety pin in between each one to stop gaping. Bras are still expensive. I can only buy some lingerie (babydolls, basques etc.) if the store does a special DD+ range since I spill over the top of normal ones. I can't easily play bass or guitar since they get in the way. I have to wear vests underneath anything low cut or with a wrap front at work or I risk boob pop out, which makes me too warm. I sometimes get comments about them from random strangers and get called a feminazi when I tell them they're out of order. Their size means they look great in a bra and flop sadly when I'm naked. And I'll probably think of other downsides in a bit. Mind you, I'm sure if I didn't have them I would moan about that. It's like wanting curly hair when mine is straight and I learnt my lesson about appreciating what you already have from that by having a shocker of a perm done. |

Oh, and I can't wear anything backless or with dainty straps since I need them harnessing. And I really like a Bardot or boat necked top or frock and can't wear them since a strapless bra doesn't give me enough support and the clear strap ones always show. |
