If you are really in China, but experiencing hassle from people who think you aren't, the "where are they" function on your profile is the cause.
Perhaps once it goes above 1000, it goes a bit squiffy? |

But some people will assume the 'china bit' is there to throw them off the scent, especially when the site tells them you are much closer. Or they will presume you are back in the uk but.haven't yet updated your profile.
What happens if you change the location on your profile, or go online using a mobile? When we were abroad the site updated our distances each time I came online.
