It's bloody not!

I can see the city centre from my windows and hear the locals well into the early hours. Occasionally, the locals hear me, but that's a different story

It's not anymore. There are a few bits left like Frog Island that need a bit of tidying and the estates are better than they've ever been, but in my 28 years here I've seen massive improvements.

Not sure what there is to draw people to Leicester, it's not really a historic city, yes has a cathedral but that's about it. Many towns are more fulfilling to go and see.

Not an historic city!? Ah well, you didn't actually explore much, did you.

I've visited many Midlands cities and I'm a Lononer but Leicester is a cracking city to explore and shop in.

I live in it so I see it daily. I wouldn't go to a city to shop in, most places have the same shops as they're a franchise. Yeah there are some nice little shops, but other cities have them too.

I live in the city centre and I see it out of my window. Did you miss The Lanes and the Silver Arcade? Anyway, I thought we were talking history. Jewry wall, Roman cemetary, New Walk, St Mary de Castro church, the canal and river, Lady Jane Grey, Cardinal Wolsey, Abbey Park, Victoria park, Dickie, the Magazine, The Guildhall and some outstanding architecture and that's just the tip of the iceberg! Unlike most sprawling cities, it's small enough to be able to cover on foot.

Then there's the space centre, the theatres, the amazing market and outlying places like Allandale Road and Clarendon Park.

Heck, it dates back to the Iron Age!

Lived here all my life in certain areas

New parks

Rushed Mead

Braunstone

To name a few.

To me it's got worse over the years and it's rapidly changed into a bit of a dive but my family is here and I don't plan on moving just yet.

All areas are good and bad and as for it being dead it's not that dead

You've two celts places one in town and one Narborough road and then you've a few dogging places as well where quite a bit happens.

Couple of massage parlours as well if you don't want the hassle of this place and all the hoops you might have to jump trough lol
