The Garden of Eden in Beautiful North Wales |
THE MASK
The Mask is what I wear each day and take off every night
To you I may look normal as I battle with my plight
My thoughts and dreams are real, my existence is a fight
But locked away inside my head are the reasons why I cry
You don't see the boy or girl that locks their self away
And struggles with their gender each and every day
To you I may seem normal because I can't give the truth away
When locked away inside my head are the reasons why I cry
I just want to live as who I am and show the world outside
That deep inside my inner being is a girl that lives inside
You'll never understand the confusion in my mind
Because locked away inside my head are the reasons why I cry
I don't have to look for reasoning of what could or might have been
Or explain to you why I can't mix and why I don't fit in
My life has been a roller coaster you should have been my twin
When locked away inside my head are the reasons why I cry
I will be with you my lover, I would walk a thousand miles
To be with you and hold your hand, to see your pretty smile
When your arms are wrapped around me, I'll know it's been worth while
No longer locked inside my head and no longer will I cry. |

I'm very touched, I do sit down and write what's on my mind at times. I have a few that I've written but mostly keep them to myself as I don't think many people would be interested in my thoughts. Some are deep, some funny and others are rants but as I say, mostly I keep them locked away.
