"Why do some folks call a round piece of bread a roll? I'd be pretty miffed if I sent ma mate to the shop for a sausage roll and he came back with with something that wasn't encased in pastry

If you have chips in slices of bread, then it's called a butty, in a sliced round thing, then it's a cob |
