Makes you laugh doesn't it !
So I politely reminded a fellow motorist to use their indicators ....... Next thing...... Driver hard on my tail, undertaking me and giving me gestures ..... ( yes I know I masturbate)
Back on my tail....phone out taking pics of me the driver btw ..... Aye that's clever !
Anyway I just smiled all the way through, drove to speed limit etc etc

"Driver might go to the Police about this, downside for him is that he could be charged with using a mobile Phone whilst driving."
Lol lets hope so! Sounds like a dick. |

"How did you politely remind drivers ( plural ) about using their indicators ?"
By simply pointing at front of their vehicle at each of their indicators area |

Just can't see how you can drive (eyes on the road hands on the wheel ) and they can drive ( keeping their eyes on the road without being distracted ) and you can point at both their indicators and they and you can carry on driving safely.
I often wonder what sort of example and lesson the so called 'teachers' of driving ettiquette think they are giving while they are breaking many rules in the book.

Unfortunately had similar today whilst out cycling.
Driver too busy looking at the Lamborghini nearby to watch what was in front of him, finally realises his way forward is blocked so swings hard into my lane (inside lane) & almost hit me.
Apparently my two fingers in his rearview mirror were enough for him to stop and make threats of violence, soon stopped when I pointed out I was catching it all on camera. |

I had some cockwomble pull out in front of me Friday on my way to work. I was doing 40 in a 50 (just getting up to speed) and they pull out giving me just yards to spare after an emergency stop, proceeded to do less than 5mph till the next junction and turn off again. Gave them the bird and layed on the horn but didn't even acknowledge I was there which pissed me off even more. If I wasn't on the way to work would have followed them and told them to get their eyes tested.
Unfortunately it's becoming more common. People aren't paying attention to the road around them and can't judge the speed of traffic they are trying to join. |

Happens a lot I drive a truck for a living and if I lost my rag every time someone drove like a moron I reckon Id have had a coronary by now.
Wasnt overly pleased with the young lady on her phone who knocked me off my motorcycle in November then drove off but hey ho,
I generally smile and wave at the road ragers, or if I really want to piss em off blow them a kiss |

Standards are generally appalling now. I've seen driving instructors letting their pupils sit in marked box junctions, I've seen them on the phone whilst teaching - if that's the standard then what hope is there? |

At some point while anyone is driving at least one hand will be off the wheel, changing gear, opening a window , changing radio station , waving to a friend ? Most of the time this is done safely by all of us , my gesture was really the same thing !
I continued to drive safely throughout the 'incident' continuing to smile as I saw the gestures out the corner or my eye...... I'll have to remember Blowing a kiss for next time |

We were on the northbound M5 and just going through what our kids called the "scary bit"! Where the road goes onto split levels between Weston and Bristol. We were overtaking a car that was on the inside lane when he accelerated and pulled in front.
I realised that the traffic had started to speed up, so looked in the mirrors and indicated to pull to the inside. Before I made the move, I noticed a car about 50 yards away on the inside and as I had plenty of room, I pulled into the lane.
Next thing I know, this idiot was almost touching the rear of my car and having some kind of fit! I ignored him and he started to pull out to overtake, as he drew level, I glanced in his direction and he was making the gesture as if to fire a gun at me...
Normally, I don't rise to this stuff, but after he went past, I pulled out and stayed about 50 yards behind him. Changed lane when he changed and slowed when he did. We got to me M49 and he suddenly decided to pull onto that road as we carried on. He did that cos I scared him I think, we stopped at the first services on the M4 and who should pull in as we walked back to the car?
The look on his face was a picture when he realised that he had parked three cars away from the chap he had threatened. He wouldn't even look in my direction.. Steering wheel warrior! Could say "typical Audi A3 driver" but.... |
