Well, got to say we've just watched the most horrible fillum we have ever seen.
Absolutely fucking nasty. Second even worse than the first.
We were both cringing and covering our eyes at certain scenes.
Still, at least the villain(s) got it in the end ho ho.
Can hardly wait for number 3. |

"Each to their own, but I can't tolerate gory flicks like human centipede... Apparently, A Serbian Film is the worst one out there... "

I like a good horror film, but mostly if it's psychological. I'm not a fan of films that are extremely sick & twisted just for the sake of being sick & twisted. Films that aren't scary, just downright rank.
A Serbian Film fits into that category along with The Men Behind the Sun & Melancholie Der Engel. Sick indeed! |

Maybe we should form a 'Victims of Human Centipede' Support Group. We could get govt funding and maybe even claim DLA then a Mobility allowance and go on Jeremy Vile.........possibilities are endless. |

The odd thing is, there are some violent movies that rank amongst my favourites (Kill Bill Vol . 1, for example). But I think there comes a point where the gore begins to overpower everything else. The script, acting, and plot end up suffering just so as much violence as possible can be crammed into those 90 minutes or so |

We like (too old to message you lol) your pic No. 10."
It's one of our favourites too , yet it's not very popular for some reason |

Legend has it that the script writer was sat in a street cafe, and over heard two people talking about a pedophile and one of the two said he wished they would sow them 'arse to mouth' and feed one, which in turn would feed the rest.
And then it became a movie |

Out of 1, 2 and 3, I struggled with the 2nd one the most. I love gore and shock and twisted horror. Still can't psych myself up enough to watch A Serbian Film yet. Had it for ages. I had a sick flick night with friends once (Centipede, Mum&Dad, Tokyo Gore Police) and I fell asleep before Serbian Film. Consensus was that was a smart move. |

I love them 3 is rubbish but 2 is mental, totally messed up, I like sick and twisted tho. A serbian film is without a doubt the worst film I've ever watched. Once u have seen it u can unsee it. |

Sorry to resurrect but couldn't reply earlier.
I'd agree with the OP about Centipede 1 which was a cheap and ridiculous eexploitationbflick but no.2 is a completely different kettle of fish. Like Hostel 2 it explores the psychology of yhe perpetrator...and that is much more interesting.
Human Centipede 2 id recommend because it is a very dark look at a loner's perverted obsession with the first film. Made all the darker because it is largely set in a public underground carpark where he monitors CCTV all day...and has an unhealthy home life with his mother.
No 2 is a really dark psychological horror movie. |

I've never seen the fuss about the first one, I think its fairly tame, the second progressively gets worse but as others have said compared to A Serbian Film, its nothing. Still yet to watch the 3rd centipede film though, I know it'll be shit acting/plot but its weird, I watch them just to see how disgusting I'll find it. |

I wouldn't say either of them are actually 'good', I haven't seen the third yet but have seen a trailer.
The first is original, a story that, as far as I know, hadn't been done before and the film really sold by performance of the doctor. It really should have ended with the first film.
The second, in my opinion, is just garbage and should never had been made. It made a total of £350 at the cinema - or something like that. The director decided to make it in black and white because it's 'more scary'.
The first is semi-believable, and it tried to sell it on the fact that it is '100% medically accurate'. The second said something like '100% medically inaccurate', I found the main character annoying and the story really poor; overall it was boring. Sure, there were some gross moments (which would have been worse in colour) but I thought it was rubbish.

Just watched centipede 2 earlier it was on the horror channel. Watched 1 a couple of weeks ago. For part 2 just found the black and white throughout the whole film annoying, thought something had gone wrong with the telly at first, lol, would've been more gross/scary in colour. |
