To lighten the mood a little, what programmes from Saturday nights remind you of your youth.
From the USA it was CHiPs and the A Team
From the UK the Generation Game
Any other classics? |

I enjoyed the generation game and programmes like gladiator and Noels house party when I was younger.
All the programmes of today all seem to be celebrity based, which all gets a bit boring and tedious, I tend to stick to box sets now. |

"Football results
Basil Brush show
Jim'll Fix It (it was all good pre-Yewtree!)
Doctor Who
Generation Game
The Beeb always nailed it over ITV! "
Jim'll Fix It was massive for years, quite scary now we know what we know.
Dr Who used to terrify me, just the music sent me hiding behind the sofa! ITV went for some rather non PC comedies if I remember like Some Mother's Do Ave em and Mind Your Language. |
