"Not very well educated on the correct wording sorry didn't mean to cause offense "
The general correct term is to use the pronoun of the gender with which they associate, whether they are transgender, transexual, crossdressing or anything else. |

I generally find that if you are unsure of the correct term to use just politely ask. |

Just use "trans" "Trans people" if you are talking generally. Its best, it will not upset anyone.
And can encompass all.
Don't buy into the myriad of different terms which often are being applied by anyone trans person to describe their current status or stage they are at in transition. They are often suffering from various levels of gender dysphoria that makes sometimes a bit over sensitive. trans is easy and won't offend anyone..x |

Well its a similar thing to the myriad of terms for trans used to define someones stage in life. You have general poles of straight . gay and bi in the middle. The reality isn't like that. Most guys ive been with wouldn't consider a man...I dont know...bi curious maybe? somewhere in the grey?? |

You're missing nothing... I'd always wondered what it was like to suck a cock but my ribs kept getting in the way and men, per se, do absolutely nothing for me.
A convincing, feminine transvestite, or even better, a pre-op male-to-female transgender helps to continually answer the question.
The men you refer to call themselves straight because they are attracted to the feminine side and not just the dangling appendage. They're not though. |

Although there are so many blurred, vague and grey areas and people at different scales of the spectrums all of the descriptions are valid as they apply to (often totally) different lifestyles.
Some Transexuals may find the term shemale offensive but it is appropriate to those who would describe themselves as such and is actually useful in deciphering what a person is actually looking for sexually as opposed to using the generic Transgendered term.
My take on decriptions (please feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong) is as follows :
CROSS DRESSER : Someone essentially male in outlook, character and demeanour who likes to wear female clothes usually in a sexual, fetishistic way. Can be Gay, Straight or Bi.
TRANSVESTITE : Likes to adopt a female look and demeanour not always in a sexual way but probably mainly so. Can be Gay, Straight or Bi.
TRANSEXUAL : Believes that they are born in to the wrong gender and desires surgery to effect changes to physical appearance.
Can be straight, gay or bi but mainly looking to adopt the role of their perceived gender.
SHEMALE : A hybrid who appears female but retains male genitalia and will adopt 'active' male role on men or women. Polysexual as can have sex with men and women in active or passive roles. Quite often associated with sex industry and often charge money.
This is by no means definitive and each of the above descriptions has it's own divides based on many differing personal preferences - some are active, passive, switch etc etc.
The key is in knowing what you are actually seeking and being specific in seeking what you actually desire. I know it's stating the obvious really but if you tell people what you are looking for then you are more likely to find it. |

Well spotted; no you are not missing anything; but, fondle and check, nevertheless
And I noticed that you are 'straight' and responding to a thread about TVs and TSs |

"Sorry didn't mean to offend with the shemale comment didn't realise it was offensive "
Its not offensive, but you do get the odd Trans with their heads stuck up their arses that get offended over nothing.
Shemales are beautifull and are what draw guys into considering giving the Trans community a second look |

To be fair it is offensive to a lot of transsexuals. They aren't really doing it so they can get a fuck. And don't really want to be sexually objectified by a term coined by the porn industry for pre op trans. The guys it brings in on a sex jolly, often aren't really what a lot of trans are looking for either. |

I had a guy tell me once, as long as he's the one shoving it in then he's still straight, go figure that one |

The "Head up the Bum Brigade" are a difficult cult to debate with, you see having their heads stuck up their bums they can no longer talk out their arses , hence appear to speak with great gravity and authority, yet all it is is rechanneled shite from their bumholes being rerouted to the mouth... |

I compare a truly sexy TV/TS to a chocolate peanut butter pie - on the surface it doesn't sound like it would work, but done right, you'll taste few things quite as delicious... |
