£35 for getting form liverpool to leeds and back even with todays prices it dont cost that,
If they cannot afford the costs to travel then they need to not travel, its their responsibility not yours |

If I travel over 40 miles each way for a meet, then I expect the gent to buy me a pint of beer and treat me to a pub meal, and I do not expect that is too much to ask for! Otherwise I am not interested. |

I am upfront about the pint and the pub meal if I travel a fair distance to meet, as stated in my profile. If peeps don't like it, then they should not ask me to meet them.
I do not ask for anything else, and would always contribute towards hotel cost etc... |

I appreciate the cost of fuel has increased and that the gentleman have some distance to travel. The only thing i offer is that everything is nice and cozy here for them to relax and enjoy themselves |

The bloody cheek of people these day's eh!, The only time we ever ask for a contribution is if we have booked a hotel for a meet with say 2/3 couples and 2/3/4 single guy's and we then expect everyone to contribute, last time i think it cost everyone who attended £7 each, which we thought was fair and so did everyone involved, this was explained before any arrangements where made and all agreed, if i'd thought about it at the time i would have added our babysitter cost of £25 into pmsl, but on an ordinary meet we would never ask anything to cover our cost's, what a bloody cheek. |

It is a bit cheeky, I'm lucky as Fuel and Hotel costs are covered with my expenses so I expect no one to contribute, I have been offered a contribution in the past but politely decline it |

From the RAC site
Liverpool to Leeds
Total cost for journey: £28.76
Distance: 71.91miles / 115.73km
about: 1 hour(s) 23 minute(s).
Double that is £59.00
That's calculated at 40p per mile. Don't know what a mile costs tbh.
I drive a KA it's economical but it's about a tenner to go to Manchester from here a round journey for me is about twenty quid when I go to see my daughter. |

P.S. Forgot !
I'd never ask for money to travel but then I wont travel even though I can afford it.
I don't think they should have asked if they were using your house. |

"For the right couple bi choice, we've travelled many miles, never once have we asked for fuel / accommodation, tbh, we've never even thought about costs, let alone ask for them."
cost should never come into it, you meet because you want to |

As i dont drive. the cost in fuel as not really effected me.. fair enough Train fares have gone up. but thats nonthing new.
end of the day.. if you was going to visit freinds or family. would you ask them to pay half towards your transportation cost?.. as i know for sure i wouldnt dream of doing such thing.
if you was both having to stop in a hotel, then fair does. tis only polite to share the costs. but not sharing the cost on getting to the location.

bloody cheek, my travelling expenses are mine, if you don't want to pay don't travel.
I am off the bike at the moment with a shoulder injury so went to a meet in hastings last night on the train. I was having so much fun i missed the last train home so ended up in a hotel for the night coz i felt it too much of a cheek to burden the couple involved with my problem. Was well worth it tho, and thank god for laterooms.com |

Maybe they are hoping they will get to stop the night! |

Most of my meets seem to want to shoot out the door once they've cum, it's only the T-girls & couples who want to relax & chat i've found. |

Part of the experience i think is the chat and talking about the scene and how it works for you. To come shoot and leave is a bit rude don't you think? |

It depends tbh.
Sometimes all i want is the thrill of stranger sex, other times i like the cosy chat of the after sex come down. I've found that its mainly the guys who want to do a panda though.
If the sex has been particularly messy (W/S for example) then i really want to shower straight away, difficult to do that without being rude to your guests. |

cant believe anyone would have the cheek to ask that.as a single guy i always do the travelling, pay for hotel if needed, because its only fair as to many single guys spoil it for genuine ones.this way people i meet know im genuine. |

.
I know of someone who would not visit her mother unless she paid for her fuel, from Edinburgh to somewhere near Harrogate.
Her mother was in her late 80s!
I guess it is called emotional blackmail - she wanted to see her daughter more, so she had to pay for her fuel! |

Does anyone consider whether the person travelling can afford to travel.
It could be that they say ...... Yes we'd love to meet but we don't have the money.
OR
Yes mum I would drive up to see you but I haven't got the petrol money. |

we have no option to but to travel from where we live, but hey thats our choice, you don't have to arrange meets with people if you don't want to. Certainly wouldn't pay anyone to come to Norfolk, likewise we wouldn't expect anyone to pay for us to go anywhere in the UK surely the first rule of swinging still applies No means No lol

I agree.
However, the person I mentioned above is not skint, just f'ing tight and mean spirited and likes to screw her mother for all the money she can!
She even charged her mother 400 GBP per week for staying with her!!! And she paid for all the food on top, from the best supermarkets and delis! |
