Good evening Fabbers, Friends and Forumites.
Well goodness gravy its gone chilly. Those particularly unsexy black thermals have been brought out again. Its the first time this winter, one looks like a second rate Milk Tray Man .( a reference for us more mature Fabbers).
From the top of our hill today, pooch and I looked out on Snowdonia's majestic mountains. The snow has blanketed the craggy peaks. Icing on a giants cake .
Our I Pods on shuffle we had a jolly sing song. A few splendid tracks , including "So you want to be a rock and roll star" by Nazareth. A great opening track to their live sets .
This got us thinking ,
What band would you like or have liked to be in? What would you play or are you the singers .
Its fantasy so no previous musical talent needed
Pooch ... Bonzo Dog Doh Dah Band ..lol
Taff ,, Led Zeppelin, lead guitar ( sorry Jimmy)
Have fun chums

"Can I just be a roadie for The Bangles
Only if ic be a roadie for Bjork "
I'd love to have been in the Rolling Stones, if I could have the constitution of an ox |

"John Entwistle so that I could party with Keith Moon and be the best base player around."
When I was at school in the Cotswolds, a few of us went to Entwistle's mansion in Stow-on-the-Wold. He even let us play some of his guitars
Think I would have to be Jon Lord in Deep Purple |

Must've been awesome to go to his place.
Nice choice on Deep Purple as well. |

It'd be a pleasure and honour to sing (or rather scream!) The Ace Of Spades with Motorhead now that monster of metal Lemmy has passed away.
What a guy....living large n touring every year putting on awesome gigs right up to his death at 70.
Proper rock legend!
I'll be paying my respects on sat drinking a quadruple jack n while watching the funeral live on youtube then I'll be blasting out The Ace Of Spades........with the volume up to 11! |
