Both are of the above are very true , I guess Syria stands out more as they used to know what it was to have food and in someways makes it even harder .
Skin me alive if you like but looking at it now I don't blame the ones that become refugees I'd have done the same |

life doesn't always make it so you can sort out your own shit.
but i agree nobody has exclusive rights to not starving to death, no matter who they are and what their status is. |

In the last hour the Syrian authorities have given in to worldwide condemnation and are now going to allow aid to reach those areas where children have been facing the added suffering bought about by enforced food shortage.....

Where exactly? And while you are at it, what demographic are they in and do they have x-boxes and the like, flat screen TV's and do the parents smoke and drink?
The Daily Fail will tell you stories about those starving in the UK, point out a couple of examples and then suggest it is rife!
So go on, tell us all how YOU are helping those in this country who are "starving"? All those pensioners and children!
And then tell me their lives are worse than someone in a war torn country, where every day is a fight for life and there is literally no food. Yes I think we should curb economic migrants, like most in Calais, who are mainly fit and able young men, but those in danger need help.
No, our starving can wait! |

Better yet, they could sell their unwanted children as food for the tables of gentlemen and women, at a stroke removing unwanted mouths and providing much-needed income.
Simple. |

They do cannibalism in a lot of poverty stricken areas and it works for them.
And, i think this is probably more cost effective, they only sell childrens limbs and not the whole of the child. It's fairly popular.
I should be a politician, solving world problems here. |

Here's an idea.
If all the fabulously rich gave 10% of their wealth to end all poverty, wars, dictatorships, they wouldn't miss it.
Elton; 100mil=10mil
J.k.Rowling 500mil=50mil
Blair 100 mil=10mil
Osbournes 200mil=20mil
etc etc etc
Instead we get these bleeding heart ads on the telly expecting people who can hardly afford a decent meal to contribute £3 a month so that kids don't have to drink cow piss water or adopt a fucking snow leopard.
Doesn't anyone else think we live on a bizarre fucked up planet? |

How can a starving child sort its own problems out
The problem is their own government do not give a shit about them and happy to leave them to starve to death so do we really think...fuck it if their own country don't care about them why should we?
Children are children they are always the innocent sufferers in these situations
Makes my heart sink when I see young kids on the streets with nothing fending for themselves |

"So we go off a bomb Syria
Then we see on the telly that our government matches pound by pound the money you give to charity to keep Syrian children alive
How fucked up is that???"
You mean WE match pound for pound the money WE give to charity. Government doesnt have any money except ours |

Yeah but here's the thing....once again we are given an bleak insight to the selfish mind-set of those amongst us who's attitude towards compassion stretches no further than criticising the effort and action of those intent on easing the suffering of their fellow human beings...
The world food agency already had the aid waiting to deliver to these poor unfortunate children,,,,, the issue was simply that they were trapped in a region cut-off by the war ,,,,
Thankfully pressure brought about by worldwide condemnation compelled the warring factions to grant access to those areas so aid could be delivered....
Proving some folk really do care and that's good enough for me....

so! The starving of the world, what is to be done?
I threw food away yesterday, not very much I try not to but I still threw it away. There's a huge imbalance and a huge lack of compassion its very sad.
There are people who are hungry in this country but very few who are as malnourished as the kids in Syria in the news reports.
Nothing will ever, ever change all the time the "look after your own" attitude exists... we are all the same species looking after our own includes everyone. |

When you come face to face on a regular basis with people coming from these countries you can understand why their children are starving.
Backward 3rd world scum with no morals.
The sad thing is is these poor kids that do survive COULD turn in to the filth that put them in the situation in the first place. |

Starving pensioners
All the pensioners I visit in my job are far from Starving.
Little old lady eats less than a bird and has a fridge full off food and cupboards full of food.
No such thing as Starving pensioners in this country. Pensioners are well looked after here |

And your counter argument is ......
when you find the source of the problem you might find a solution.
No use keep blaiming the west when the problem is from within |
