so, we have a lot of threads about tattoos on here i know but i am watching bodyshockers and some twat of a lad (he really was a twat) has had almost his whole back tattooed with an image of him licking a womans arse.
Do you think that tattoo artists should be responsible for making sure that tattoos that they do follow some form of decency guidelines? should the have the right to decline to tattoo somehing they think breaches public decency? if they have the right do you think they exercise it enough or is it a case of if you ave the money they will tattoo it? |

To be fair, the tattooist did ask him prior to inking him if he was sure, then asked again.
I have a sneaky suspicion he'll regret it in 5-10 years when he wants a wifey & kidlets. |

It's entirely down to the consumer, if they want a dildo tattoo covering their back then the artist can provide this service for a fee which the consumer pays for!
It's the moronic people of this world that get me with tattoos... 1 guy has his face covered in tattoos to look like a skeleton and t'other one is going down body mutilation to look like a fecking parrot lol MEANWHILE they're moaning they can't get jobs! God give me strength lol I love tattoos but trying to look like a skeleton just takes the utter piss. Think his name was mad dogg. Joker! |

In certain ships and companies they do refuse certain tattoos. It comes down to artist disgression and managers. I.e a lot of places refuse to old clssic dots on knuckles and i know a tatooist refused to do the swastika logo on a german |

I think he will definitely regret that. My tattooist won't do face tats so I'm sure it depends on the tattooist as to what they will or won't do but that was obscene. |

Each to their own and that but some tattoos do make you wonder. Saw a bloke once who amongst several head tattoos had a rectangle with "damaged goods" tattooed on the back of his shaven head. I moved away slowly. |

I think it's down to tattooist if these nobs wanna pay lot money have something silly done then so be it , I personally think there the customer and they get what they want .be like me going nightclub and ordering a baby cham I'll look a cock with it but that's what I asked for that's what I got |

I think people should be able to get whatever they want tattooed on their body. Its their business. But if he ever goes to the beach and whatever, then I would imagine he would get in the same shit as someone who publicly displayed porn. |

I think a persons choice is exactly that.
If they want "x" tattoo'd wherever, then let them get on with it. Its their cash, their skin & their life, so let them get on with it. Wouldn't do half of what some do but, fair play to them for being loopy enough to go through with it!

I watched the show myself, I couldn't BELIEVE that he had it done, but all the way through his segments he did seem very immature & I'd say that he'll regrer it. Hell, he probably already does. |

The two artists I use will not do face tattoos on anyone unless they are in the industry themselves.. They won't do anything that will reflect badly on them as artists x |

There has been an explosion of "tattoo artists" over the last 15 years, many of whom have not received an apprenticeship (yes there is an apprenticeship), most decent artists (my best friend is a well know and respected artist) adhere to an unwritten code. This code has contains things like no tattooing hands, necks, or faces of people who aren't heavily tattooed and to a certain extent what they tattoo. |
