So, what do your shoes say about you?
My friends and I used to ride the subway to school in nyc, and we used to play a game where we would pic out total strangers and make up stories about their day based only on their shoes.
So, I ask, what would your shoes say about you if you were to be that random person on the subway. I don't just want a story about your day - I'm looking for something deeper. You can choose your favorite pair or the ones you wear the most.
Lets get some interesting insight!

I am currently wearing black, highly polished cavalry boots with my swagger stick stuck down one side of my right boot.
I imagine they simply reflect my charming, witty and awesome (yet modest) personality....

Some days my shoes tell me I'm gonna run! Other days they tell me to jump in a puddle even though they are not made for puddles! And sometimes especially on holiday they tell me to stand just on the edge of the waves from the sea, the sea coming over them and I start to sink. My feet then tell my whole body that's when it is happiest. |

Lol, that game sounds like fun.
One day the girl without shoes decided to go outside for some milk. She only lived 5 mins away from the farm and it was all muddy because of the rain. She could feel the mud squishing through her toes with every step but she liked that feeling. She saw Farmer Joe and waved, he said "hi" and accompanied her to the milking shed where Farm hand Bob was.
She sidled over to Bob, who was milking a cow, accidently brushing his arm with her breast, all 3 of them knew what was coming next...because they did this every week without fail, Bob lifted up her skirt and...to be continued.
That's what my shoes say. |

Currently I'm living in my boots... Fuzzy inside, the length can be adjusted from down by my ankle to just below my knee, little buckle & a two inch heel.
Probably practical, adaptable, likes to have warm legs & can't walk in heels. |

I always wear flats despite being 5'2" because they're comfortable and practical, so flip flops, converse, or boots in winter. The boots and flip flops are usually plain but pretty, so I reckon that might say I'm very comfortable in my own skin. I don't try to disguise who I am or distract the observer with decoration and adornments, that I readily show my true self. |

Yesterday was Hunters. Today was 4" heels and tomorrow will be walking boots. Friday night will be thigh high boots with 5" heels. I have many lives and live them all to the max - that's what my shoes say about me and long may it be so |

I have serious shoe issues
I've easily over 200 pairs in big plastic tubs under my
Bed in my wardrobe and the shoes I wear more often in shoe boxes.
Love or loath I've got 4 pairs of ugg boots couldn't decide on colour so bought them all.
My most expensive pair from harrods hidden away they are Roberto Chavalli.
I've got 4 pairs of Vivian Westwood 'meilissa's' the list is endless.
I need a shoe closet really to have them
All out as I've so many no idea what I've got.
I'm the same with handbags too although don't have so many lol.
It's been suggested I sell some yet what happens if I did then wanted to wear them? Lol |

It's something you wear every day. Some thought intrinsic to you, what you like, and what you do had to go into that choice.

So in summary your shoes say "fuck me"  I like it
My choice of footwear today is black ankle lace up trainer boots with a hidden wedge heel and silver studs on the side.
If I get my deep thinking head on I would say they say about me... I like to sometimes stay youthful whilst appearing grown up/important. I like to unassumingly stand out without revealing all my secrets. How's that?
The reason for the shoes is my other pair of ankle boots I got dog poo on and as much as I like them they weren't going to get cleaned so they went in the bin. I find flat shoes uncomfortable on the arch of my foot. I can get away with them for work

Mine would say about me that I individuality and I like to be looked at, that I have a quirky dress sense and that I like to stand out and be noticed.
I have to dress fairly conservatively for work. I do try but there is always something about me that stands out from a rather dull uniform.
I do have to wear comfortable flat shoes for work because I am on my feet all day. My work shoes are Dr Martens mary jane shoes which are red, white and blue polkadot shoes. They dont match absolutely anything else I wear and are very bright and colourful. |

I wear what is comfortable for what day I'm going to have not what looks good
Unless I'm dressing up and then it's heels.. But not too high as I like being small
I think it's because I just don't care what people think about me as I'm comfortable with myself

today has been my lilac hunters - but the village is now closed off unless you drive a 4x4 thanks to local flooding.
Normally, its 6 inch heels (irregular choice, iron fist, KG, Carvella etc) and I have a massive collection of shoes.
And teaching in the gym is barefoot... and gym workout is trainers...! |

I'm the same with wellies. I used to buy very cheap colourful wellies but they used to rip where my foot bends. I thought buying from Trespass and upgrade to £30 for wellies would do the trick but these still ripped in the same place. I must have odd feet.
I bought some Hunter wellies and I've had them nearly a year and they are brill. I walk my dog at least 3 times a day in fields so I need them |

I'd say it says that you are practical, if a bit hipster. Your work shoes are a necessity. The converse show that you care about style and "look" but not enough, as you have three of the same.
If the converse are in different colors, I'm sure that could suggest something as well. Maybe you have more insightful things that it could signify about you, as I don't really know you enough to say. |

I think my leopard print heels say i'm outgoing, flirty, confident, maybe a little outrageous!
My patent brogues say i'm not afraid of playing with masculine fashion, because I am confident in my femininity.
My DMs say I like a practical, quality shoe but with luxe details (they're velvet with satin laces)
My knee high 6 inch heel boots simply say 'slut'. |

"So, what do your shoes say about you?
My friends and I used to ride the subway to school in nyc, and we used to play a game where we would pic out total strangers and make up stories about their day based only on their shoes.
So, I ask, what would your shoes say about you if you were to be that random person on the subway. I don't just want a story about your day - I'm looking for something deeper. You can choose your favorite pair or the ones you wear the most.
Lets get some interesting insight!

my shoes would tell one heck of a story
mostly good with a tad sadness thrown in
ive had my stilletoes clubbing days
flats mammy days
hiking boots for the many miles me my ex kids and dogs walked
court shoes working days
fip flops sandals for summer holidays
and finally good old any comfy shoe
my feet have suffered a heck of alot over the year
but hey my shoes where made for living |
