If something has angered me, PiL's Album or Compact Disc depending on which medium I want to use. Or Steven Wilson's Insurgentes - more specifically a track called Get all that you deserve. |

The Smiths, when im feeling down and depressed I can always rely on Morrissey to keep me down there. I dont like upbeat music when im unhappy, I like to know that others are wallowing in sorrow too |

"dark side of the moon-pink floyd.
I'm with saucy. Any Pink Floyd album takes me out of myself - but Dark Side is a constant favourite.
"
seriously Kev, DO NOT go with Saucy for anything... speaking as his daughter in law, he will corrupt you in more ways than you would care to imagine.. trust me!!!! |

"dummy by portishead"
Yep, this.
Also I like listening to Exit Planet Dust by the Chemical Brothers. Turned up very loud.
When I really have had a bad day, though, I prefer to just DJ myself rather than put on an album, as there's loads of single tracks that I love. Mostly trance stuff like Born Slippy by Underworld, Synaesthesia by the Thrillseekers, Cafe del Mar by Energy 52, Barber's Adagio for Strings by William Orbit.
It's a great stress reliever and can take your mind off whatever has been bugging you. |

It depends whether I want to cry or get over it?
If I want to blurt it all out I will listen to Fairport Convention's ' Who Knows Where The Time Goes' from Unhalfbricking' or I will listen to the first Clash album. |

Pink Floyd, Division Bell for chilling out, especially Coming back to life
Bob Dylan's heartbreak album Blood on The Tracks.
Whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not by Arctic Monkeys always gets me into party mode |

Two extremes for me (Lynne). The first is Smiler-Rod Stewart, used to love winding our dog up as opening bars have a dog barking on it. Other end of the scale is Marvin Gaye-What's going On. They are my two usual cd's I reach for to lift my mood. |

"Songs in the Key of Life.....Stevie Wonder
If I could only ever be able to hear one album ever again it would have to be this."
Typically I wouldn't listen to that type of music..but I do own this album..and it's flawless |
