Just put my headphones on to leave the house and the first song that came on was "the queen is dead" by the smiths, my favourite band, as soon as that drum beat intro kicks in you know something special is about to happen.

What song intro makes you think "fuck yes let's have it"

That will be The Wedding Present. Not support they are 'very special guests' indeed. Gedge doesn't do support slots, so it gives you an idea of the regard he holds them in. I will no doubt be drooling over the lovely Ms Wallinger on bass and admiring her dress at the same time when I catch them at Newcastle.

Also the Icicle Works will be good. I saw McNabb last year and he is excellent with the audience.
