What's your idea of fun?
I'm bored of people talking at me about sex and their fantasies, but like flirting and having a laugh that way. Or just chatting any old shit really can be fun too.
When you see someone looking for fun on their profile do you often find they contradict themselves or have you found they are fun to know, and fun in bed? |

I like to involve fun in my meets, I like to go places and do things with people, especially the more I know them, random days out in random citys and towns, go get food, chat Shit, tell jokes, all that stuff, I treat a meet like a day with a friend to some degree ya know? Talk bollocks, laugh, mess around, I think my veri's are ok at showing that actually.
I've found that talking just a bit with people you can get the feel for them and generally when I've met folk it's been good shits and giggles thankfully |

pub for a couple of pints, few games of pool and a decent band...
putting boots on and yomping round some wet woods with a mate, while taking pics of the scenery and any interesting fungus - and hopefully a pic of said mate slipping over in said wet woods...
phoning up shops, leaving the phone ringing for ages, and when they finally answer say 'thanks but i'm just window shopping' then hang up...
*scratches head*... hmm, maybe i need to find more fun things to do!!! |

See, one could argue that by the very raison-d'etre of this site, that the 'majority viewpoint' is that 'fun=sex' and that sex was the initial reason people came to this site in the first place.
However, I can fully see your point of view, that unless social interactions are fleeting and ephemeral in nature, that pretty soon your treading over the same ground in regards to 'sex talk. If all you get is steak, eventually you just end up wanting a nice bowl of cornflakes.
I guess its the 'organic conversation' paradigm again; really listening to people, not just waiting for your turn to speak to push forward your own agenda.
Do people have to be 'fun to know' in order to be 'fun in bed'? Could it be that the former fits more in with the concept of the 'FWB' ad the latter with the idea of just 'NSA'? That perhaps people who approach this as NSA become 'boring' far quicker than when there are other social elements in play? |

"Fungus and prank calls...different.
Can I be the first with the slightly predictable 'fun guy to be with' joke?
Cheers "
Mushroom walks into a bar.
Bartender says, We don't serve mushrooms.
Mushroom says, But I'm a fun guy.
Bartender says, I just said we don't serve fungi.
Mushroom says, No, no, not 'fungi,' 'fun guy.' I made a pun.
Bartender says, Get the fuck out of my bar."

Yeah i pretty much already came to the conclusion that fun = sex only. I was wondering if fun meant they are fun in other ways though.
Plenty of guys can talk about 'stuff' but i'm finding if they only wanna talk about sex it's boring...get 10 guys at once only wanting to talk sex at you then it gets even more tedious.
I don't expect to know everything about their life but half the people on here need to come on when they aren't hard and not bore the pants off me.
It's why i am in the forums, at least you can have a bit of sex chat without any pressure and also more other chat as well. |

Space hopper races. Walking on the beach. Jumping in puddles. Curling up with a good book in front of a roaring fire. Forcing the most miserable of my colleagues to smile and say 'good morning' every day. Trampolines. Swings. A good pub quiz. (Having read this back, I suspect I'm a bit of a big kid). |

I generally don't get on with people who self-style themselves as being a "fun" person. It's that "I'm crazy, me!", cheeky chappy, Robbie Williams, James Cordon type persona and it just really irritates me. Probably because I'm not a fun person.
But people who say they're looking for fun on their profiles are so widespread I treat it as shorthand for 'I want to have sex without a relationship'. Suits me perfectly, and I've met people I've genuinely had loads of fun with - laughed so much my stomach hurts. |

You see when I see fun I take that as shorthand for laughing and generally enjoying the other persons company. If I cant have a laugh with the other person in not having sex with them |

I like to chat random shit and socials are a must. If i dont laugh during a social its not a good sign.
I do get bored of people pretty easily tbh especially if they talk about the same things over and over. I dont mind talking sex after ive met someone but not all the time xx |
