My ex painted mine in a kind of turquoise colour, although it took ages to come off, it did look quite fetching at the time "

Not at the time, I've had one since although it needs a total revamp on the colour scale as all ma gray bits are starting to show through now  |

You'll have to be more specific than yellowish greenish or even the poor shop assistant might start to get a tad confused  |
