Watching a few movies over the past few weeks and there really has been some memorable scenes in them, Here's a couple:-
Mississippi Burning
Ambush on church
Platoon
Willem Dafoe on his knees
In the name of the father
Emma Thompson in court

One of my favourite film scenes is Andy Dufresne in the river just after he escapes from prison. Or the car chase scene in the Blues Brothers. |

Ones that make me still smile now so I guess not really iconic but....
The moment that ET, makes the bikes fly away from the police....
In gladiator where Maximus is asked to remove his mask by the emperor and gives his speech about who he is... ( Mr often recites this after a few.. )
