I might need to buy some travel insurance for our family and we have 2 non serious and easily maintained through medication health conditions. Neither of which I could see myself ever needing to see any specialist or doctors apart from are normal ones back home.
Is anyone aware of the a company that will let us simply opt out of these being covered on our travel insurances so they don't put the policy price up to something astronomical as we know that we will never need to claim for these situations. Thank you! |

I didnt know it was possible to do it that way. I thought it would mean the total policy was void if I didn't disclose things, even if I won't need to claim on them. Can you recommend a company that that I could do this with please? |

Your bank may have travel insurance tied in with your bank account. Ours does and I can either pay extra to cover for my pre existing condition or chance it - knowing that if I meltdown I will not be covered |

It's advisable to disclose any medical condition, even if you don't want it covered. If you need to make an unrelated claim and you have not disclosed all, they may null and void the policy. Ours is with our bank account and we pay extra for Hubby's medical conditions. Have a little knowledge of travel policies as used to work at said bank! |

As insurance cover is a contract of utmost good faith I would not take any chances by failing to disclose any material facts |
