Ok, it doesn't matter how I word this

But its going to sound like a look at me thread.
But I have a question, do compliments on the same thing ever get tiresome?
I don't mean over the top compliments just normal ones.
I started getting messages saying I don't look my age, then they got more and more frequent then yesterday they hit an all time peak, so much so I put on my profile that yes I did have the correct age on my profile so no need to mention it but took it off cause didn't like how it sounded.
The messages have started again this morning and I feel a bit bleugh that I'm fed up!with people mentioning it when I should be lapping it up.
But apart from taking my pictures off there's nothing I can do. |

With my user pic I thought I wouldn't get compliments but apparently I'm gorgeous, hot, have a fabulous figure, don't look my age, etc etc ad nauseum. They annoy me but at least it shows that they haven't remotely read my profile or even looked at it. So its a handy filter. |

Have you recently turned 50?
If so, then it's probably normal:
50 is one of the age points when some people start to categorise you as "old".
As opposed to your 40's.
So if you were 49, less people would comment. Now you are the " magic" 50, more people are likely to comment , because 50 is somehow different to 49...
And you do look good .
As long as the comments are not cheesy or naff, but come across as genuine, then just bathe in them.....

actually that is exactly what has happened. They have been since I turned 50 I used to get the odd one before but all of a sudden its like a frenzy and I'm genuinely couldn't understand why. But that makes perfect sense. |

I recently claimed to be 35 (I was joking,,honestly),,,the other person said ''you really don't look it'',,,,''thanks'' I replied,,,,,,''no seriously,,,you really don't look it''

Take the compliment for what it is. I really struggle to just say thank you when someone says something nice, but if someone has taken the time to say they think you look good - for whatever reason, then run with it. x |

On here I'm fed up with them, but if someone said it while I were to walk down the street them it'd be a different response. When I get them on here I say thank you, but generally in one ear and out the other |

Unless you are an absolute stunner on this site, then nobody should take the compliments as genuine. So many desperate guys on here, and they'll say anything to get a shag. It's called the compliments of desperation'. |
